Loved seeing the young folks volunteering at this event. The items provided were good quality. Almost too much stuff. Definitely enough to share. Excellent way to stretch grocery money.

Overall, love what they do. They really do a great job and have wonderful volunteers. The only thing is I received expired chips. Not sure if that's ok on their end, but I'm grateful for what I got and what they do.

"They give you a lot of food for a small fraction of what it would cost to buy it in the store, and some of it is fresh and of good quality. They load it in your car for you in a few seconds so you won't be able to select anything. You may get some items you didn't really want, and much more than you can use of other items, but a good suggestion is to find others with whom you can share the abundance. What is especially nice is that many of the items are organic and most of it is healthy food to improve your diet."

I could not be a bigger fan of this amazing program. Even though I am a household of one, I am a frequent participant in the produce/food rescue program. They have such a wonderful combination of foods each week. I happily take what I can use and freeze what I can before donating the rest to another local family. Love it!

Their the ones showing on the newsbreally good stuff. The new showing fresh banana's, coffee drinks, tea and more.Sorry volunteers where drinking the tea. No tea or coffee. The bananas are so bad you can only use for bread. Probably 5 lbs of seriously wilted celery.. Other than the pre packed bags of lettuce. They made kgu9 news look lyiers. Don't waste the money. Their saving the good stuff and handing out overly old stuff.

Save tons of money, fill your freezers with this instead of store bought. Share with neighbors, especially the elderly...make them a little mix bag. Usually great quality, but you do get the occasional "bad batch". Still worth it at only $10 for 60lbs. Often includes breads, dairy, soy & almond milk, and snacks!

Very rude volunteers! Twice that I've gone, they tell me not to wait in line, " we're out" when not only have I waited almost 2 hours in line, but so close to the front!! Not worth it!

Blatant false advertising. This week it was 34 pounds of food. Last week it was 48 pounds. The week before that it was 42 pounds. I'd still go if they advertised 30 pounds for $10 dollars, but they don't. Do not expect to get approximately 60 pounds of food; you won't. In no world is 34 approximately 60.You should expect 10-30% to go right to the compost the same day you get it, since some of the food will have already started to go bad. In particular the fruits and tomatoes tend to be crushed and already leaking juices into the bottom of the boxes. At a mandatory $10 price which makes it not a donation, it's still a good price to get 20-30 pounds of consumable food. They could do a better job of setting expectations however, since you will never get approximately 60 pounds.

They rescue produce and sell you 60 lbs for $10. Sometimes it includes other stuff too. They load it into your car.

We go weekly. It's been money saving and we're far healthier in our eating because of it. Plus all the seeds! Saving money there too.
