For being a hospital, there is little to no hospitality. I had a new patient appointment at 10:00 AM, and have been waiting for months to see a PCP. My health has been getting worse but since my old PCP retired, there was nothing I could do but wait. When arriving 7 minutes late, and then waiting in line for around 5 minutes, I was told that they already marked me down as a no show, and that I would have to reschedule this appointment that I’ve been waiting months for. Dr. Strand has shown that she truly cares very little for her patients time and health, considering I waited months for this appointment, drove around 45 minutes to even get there, and because I was 7 minutes late, she requested that I reschedule. This has been a complete insult to me and my well being, and hope that TMC and Dr. Strand are more considerate towards others in the future.

I have been going to TMC for over 10 years. I called for an appointment to be seen for possible Covid (I'm 69 so that would be HIGH risk) and was told that since I'm self-paying they cannot see me. I am self-paying because I am stuck between employer's insurance and waiting for Medicare to kick in, waiting for my previous employer (Honeywell) to complete a form (which I do not trust will happen soon or correctly since it's Honeywell). In the meantime, I have money and an HSA card and am more than willing to pay to survive (having bad difficulty breathing). It amazes me that they will turn away a patient of long standing who has money to pay, when that patient is in obvious physical distress. "Something, something about a federal law blah blah that they cannot do that unless they have a clear schedule of estimated fees." Two things: 1) why DON'T you have a clear schedule of estimated fees, and 2) why can't you write a quick waiver for a SICK patient with money to pay? You've lost my business. This clinic has gone downhill fast in just the last year or so.Hippocratic Oath: Do no harm.

Absolutely love this doctors office. The receptionist are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond. They always seem busy when I'm there but I have almost zero wait time and I'm in and out within 30mins of my appointment. I see Dr herd and she goes above and beyond. The amount of help she gave me was mind blowing. My last few doctors were the kind that take your money and push you away and didn't actually help anything. I've been with tmc one for a few months and already have more answers then I did the past 2 years! So keep up the good work ladies and gentlemen because it shows and made a hudge positive impact on me and gave me hope for doctors again. Have a wonderful day.

I moved here from NY and I have to say the doctors here are a lot better. I see Dr. Herd and she has helped me so much. All the staff here are super nice and respectful and are actually looking to help you. They call and follow up, you can use their app to send messages back and forth and they actually reply to them. It's definitely refreshing to see Doctors, nurses and receptionists that want to help.

I had a appointment this morning at 9:40. I called to let them know that I was running late, they informed me that I have a ten minute grace period. I arrived at 9:48. After having to call and go through the trouble of changing my primary care doctor over this new doctor that I had yet to see. I get here and they informed me that not only does the doctor not want to see me, but I can now no longer make up a new appointment with her. Very disappointed in how they treated me here today. Do not recommend. This is the location over 10390 N LA CANADA DR Suite 110, ORO VALLEY, AZ. And it was doctor HAFSA AKRAM. Furthermore, I have never in my 34 years of life been to a doctors office where they take you back at your set appointment time. They are always running late so the fact that I could not be seen after I was told that I had that 10 minute grace period Was just a slap in the face.

Had a morning appt due to flu like symptoms. Was tested for COVID and was told a prescription would be called in upon a positive test. The nurse called with a positive result same day but no script was called in. I call at 4:30pm and the phones are already forwarded even know their website indicates they are open till 5pm. So after waiting on hold I get a human only to be told there is no doctors available to call a prescription in? What am I missing here? Now I get to call back again tomorrow morning to finally get someone to call something in that should have been done today. Sorry but this is incompetent and borderline negligence. If I could give a zero star I would have. Ugh

My review is for TMC ONE LaCanada. I saw an NP Strand. She was the rudest , nasty uncaring clinician I have ever been too. I was trying to reestablish care after my husband died and my doctor retired because I got new insurance. The first question she asked me coming through the door was why did you leave your other Physician? No hi I'm sewing, so what can I do for you today etc. Just totally focused on my meds and who gave me the meds and why did they give me the meds and then she said you need to see a psychiatrist and you need to see pain management and then got up and walked out of the room while then turning around and saying she was going to drug test me. I just gotten out of the hospital with a kidney stone and who is she to drug test me anyway and for what reason. I went into transfer prescriptions get a shingles shot give her my current history pertinent past history. She didn't care about any of that didn't ask me about it didn't check me. I was still sitting in the chair with my coat on while she just kept clicking her tongue and shaking her head. I am a healthcare professional myself and I would never treat a patient this way and if I did, I'd be fired maybe not in this environment but you would be fired and my daughter is a nurse practitioner and she doesn't treat her patients this way, but for some reason this witch with a B is the nastiest most inefficient, incompetent NP, I have ever met, and I've met a lot. I know most of the physicians in this town, and I've never ever been treated in such a manner as this woman treated me I have now called friends of mine to find a different doctor and to get some help and they found me someone who is competent knows what they're doing and cares about their patients. I highly recommend you don't step foot in a TMC1 and that you certainly don't see this woman because if anything is going to happen to you or anybody's gonna miss it it's gonna be her. I didn't look at the reviews for TMC one prior to going because they all have bad reviews, this one didn't have a place to review so I'm just giving you a heads up now. Beware the only nice person in that office. I met was her MA and I think she was so embarrassed by her behavior that she didn't know what to do. I traditionally do not like PAs, because they misdiagnosed so often but I have started to question just how competent the NPs are now too. I was 29 years with the same doctor before he retired always treated with the upmost respect and care to say the least. I was shocked by this witch. Her last name is Strand and she's an NP stay away from her.!!!!!

If you want the single best Internal Medicine Doctor in Tucson visit this clinic and see the beautiful and incredibly knowledgeable Dr. Roxana Naderi. She saved me and helped me rebuild my health from collapse. Sincerely. Dr. Naderi helped when nobody else would help and she fought for me. I have a complicated case and she has caught multiple things that Specialist have missed. I cannot speak highly enough about this doctor. She also helped and fought for my wife who was similarly bad off. We have mad love for Dr. Naderi.I would have given the Clinic 5★ but I'll admit I've had trouble communicating with the office at times. I am not always the biggest fan of the doctors nurse. Also, imo, while the other doctors in the office are good I will not see NPR Lisa ever again. I will not go into details, but see a doctor not a nurse. You'll thank me.The front staff could also do a LOT to be more personable. It's down right bristly on the other side of that glass sometimes. But, it's worth dealing with them to get back to see Dr. Naderi. Again, she's amazing, knowledgeable and knows how a functional medical system should work. Which is gold in Tucson where most doctors and offices do not seem to comprehend the concept of urgency.

I have been going here for many years, and until recently, have always felt the level of care was top notch, and the support staff has always been friendly and helpful. My last few visits have left a lot to be desired. I believe the medical staff, nurses, doctors and assistants, are all still very good, but to echo a few of the earlier reviews, the office management is not so great. I told the nurse that the person at what I now know they call "central", meaning not in that building, but supporting multiple facilities, told me that when I was there I'd be able to choose a new doctor. I was happy about this because my doctor retired last year, and the interim doctor that was assigned to me left the practice after only a few months. When I told her this, she looked very confused and told me that they should not have told me that because they are not currently taking new patients. I honestly didn't think much of it, was going to call around and get a new general practitioner, but she seemed very concerned that they told me this, so she wanted me to tell the office manager. She left to get before I was finished asking questions, only really had one more, but as you'll see later, left a little unhappy regarding that part of the visit. This office manager, whose name I did not unfortunately catch, came into the room and went over everything I already knew from the nurse, and asked what I was told. I went over it again with her, and she interrupted me saying something to the effect of, "No, they wouldn't have told you that". And I said that maybe they shouldn't have, but they did. We went back and forth a bit on that, but I literally had to tell her I didn't appreciate being called a liar for her to keep pushed that point. Again, I really didn't care that much, I'll find another facility, but this was really rude, and the rudeness got a lot worse. The conversation only went on for another 5 minutes or less after that, but it was enough for her to make me feel like an infant with her constantly interrupting me, arguing with me and generally being rude in most respects.Final thought on her, when I mentioned I still had one more question for the nurse I was there to see, and paid a hefty copay to do so, by the way, she said something like, "No. We won't be able to do that." Can't remember the exact words, but you can see she didn't care at all about me, my medical needs or my feelings as a human being. Too bad too, cause as I said before, I really use to have pleasant experiences there compared to other doctors offices I've been to over the years. If anyone at TMC would like to discuss this further with me, I would be happy to do so. My initials are RDH, my visit was on 6-28-22, and my visit pertained primarily to prescription refills, hopefully that's enough to hunt me down in your records.

This practice does not take the time for patient care. Every time they receive tests that they have ordered outside of their building they never call you with the results. They do not upload them into the patient portal unless you keep calling and emailing them to do so. They put things in mine and my husbands charts that have nothing to do with us. Medical findings from who knows who. The office manager is impossible to speak to. She is rude and arrogant to all the patients. My husband called and made an appointment and when he arrived they said his was virtual and sent him home. He doesn't have a phone or a computer so who knows where they get these things from. I am just really disappointed with all the staff. Even the Medical Assistants that should be speaking to you do not get back to the patient. THE FRONT DESK IS NOT THE DOCTOR AND I AM NOT EXPLAING MY MEDICAL CARE TO THEM....looking for a new doc.

As some other patients have rightfully mentioned, the office manager "Kanesha Watson", is very arrogant and mean with zero desire to help. I had to cancel my doctor appointment only and only because of the unprofessional and inappropriate behavior of the office manager on the phone. I will NOT ever go to this office "2510 Oracle Rd" as long as she is in-charge of that office. This is a shame because I do really like my doctor Roxana Naderi.Shahriar Sabet

Can't even get them on the phone! Tried to call 4 times, on 3 different days, was supposedly caller number 1 every time. But no one ever got to my call! After sitting on hold for several frustrating minutes, with the automated system telling me I'm caller number 1 every minute or so, I got super annoyed and hung up. 4 times I tried to get through. Ill be asking my doc for a new referral now.

My doctor is a 5 star doctor but his tech on the other hand is lacking. I had lab work done and my levels were off so my meds needed adjusting. I left multiple messages from the 30th to the end of the next month before I got my meds called in. That's a month and then a week of me not having my meds at all cause I eventually ran out. If it wasn't for me loving my doctor I would have given 1 star. Oh and this isn't the only time she messed up this was just the worst one.Updated 11/13/19I had an appointment yesterday, my doctor had a new tech who took me back, unfortunately she was just a float, her name is Lailani and she was awesome. She was very kind and listened to what I was telling her and believe it or not when the doctor came in he knew why I was there..... she communicated what I said with him, I know, a shocker huh. Thank you Lailani, I hope to see you more often, will change to 5 stars if I do.
