About Tucson Audubon Society

The Tucson Audubon Society, also called the Tucson Bird Alliance, is a pro-active bird conservation and educational organization focused on ensuring the important bird area of Southeast Arizona lasts for future generations. The Society includes a cheerful and cozy Nature Shop, well-stocked with an amazing and broad selection of birding and nature books, niche guides, optics like binoculars, and great gifts for nature-loving friends and family, including unique stuffed animals and toys. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions, providing excellent advice on birding locations, events, and resources for attracting and viewing birds. Visitors can try out several pairs of binoculars, including new lightweight technology, in the courtyard before purchasing, often at very good prices. The shop itself is a quaint spot with a wood aesthetic, cluttered with birding memorabilia and literature, and visitors may even see several bird species out front. Supporting the organization through membership provides a nice discount on purchases. It is a fantastic place and definitely worth a visit for anyone who loves birds.
