Joe was exactly what I was hoping to find in a local gunsmith. Took quick care of my firearm and the price was absolutely fair. I highly recommend Joe!

Bought some ammo from this home business. After some unanswered messages finally got a response. Joe told me that the ATF 'required' identification which is not true, he then photo copied my driver's license. Be aware.

guy won't return messages, or answer his phone or email. guess he is only pretending to be a business. Beware.

Called twice, left a message twice. only to get a text message back saying they're not taking anymore work. Poor costumer service.

I live in Washington State and was able to conduct a transaction via shipping. I’m extremely impressed with how smooth everything went! Joe is a great guy! If I lived down there I would frequent his shop all the time.

I needed to find a gunsmith in the Tucson area that I trusted to work on a pair of S&W 686 Plus revolvers. I looked at the websites and reviews for a number of the options. I placed a few emails and telephone calls. One guy stood out. I liked his website. I liked his quick response time and appreciated how much information he was willing to give me regarding my options. Listen... You have to trust your gunsmith. You don't want to be just another number. Joe Goodale does great work at a fair price, but more importantly... I trust him and will continue to go back to him.

I simply needed FFL transfer services. I cleared it with the whoever answered the phone at Tucson gunsmithing before I ordered the firearm. Then it was delivered quickly by Buds but all of a sudden Tucson gunsmithing stopped answering the phone once they received delivery. Now they have my pistol and wont answer the phone. Nice huh.Update... Needless to say I made many calls to his house and after about 20 calls and several voicemails, I went to his house. As I rang the doorbell I FINALLY got a text from him saying the gun wasn't ready to pick up and when did I want to make an appointment 2 come get it. So that means he saw all the calls and listened to the voicemails and just chose to ignore them. First call I made to him was around 2:30p, he finally text me at around 5:30p to tell me I couldn't have the gun that day. He did let me in and did the paperwork right then so I could have my pistol. He seemed like a nice enough guy but how can you plan to run a business if you don't communicate with your customers. All he had to do was answer the first call I made and everyone would have been happy.

I used for a FFL transfer from gun broker. Quick less than 24 hour turnaround. He was responsive and made the process quick and easy.

Took my Thompson .45 in after it was having trouble with the recoil spring (brand new mind you) and Kahr did nothing for me. I took my gun to Joe and he told me that he would be able to look into fixing it up for me. After a few weeks, with some e-mails in between, I received my rifle back. I think the price was fair and it is a plus to help support a Tucson business. I waited to write a review until I fired a few hundred rounds through it, but I have to say, I am happy with the work Joe! Thank you! I can finally shoot this gun, instead of it being a very expensive paperweight. If you are reading this and are if need of gun repair or restoration, I recommend that you give Tucson Gunsmithing a call!

I took a shotgun and an old pistol to Joe and he was able to fix them up no problem at all for a very, VERY reasonable price. Joe has a ton of knowledge, experience and training and a wall full of gunsmithing certificates and degrees so I was very happy that I was able to get the quality of work that I got with the low cost to me. Freaking 35$ base plus parts and labor, how can you beat that?! I'll be recommending Tucson Gunsmithing to all of my friends. Support your local Tucson businesses!

Joe did a great job fixing an issue with my AR. Lightning fast, very reasonable prices, and honest as the day is long. Definitely recommend!

This guy is a professional and provides excellent work. The prices for work you get done are reasonable, I was originally told a week and a half to be done and he had it done within 3 days. I was really satisfied with his work and will be returning for future work to be done.

Joe Goodale owns and operates Tucson Gunsmithing and Firearms Appraisal. Joe is a fine gunsmith and a great guy to do business with. He belongs to the Better Business Bureau and is rated A+.I have taken a pistol and a rifle to him for cleaning and he did an excellent job and charged a fair price.Today, I took a different semi-auto to him after I had disassembled it and botched the reassembly. I took it to Joe and he not only corrected my mistake and reassembled the gun, in about 5 minutes while I waited, but he did not charge me a cent!!! When's the last time you got a professional tradesmen to give you something for free?!His business is very modest, and operated out of his home, in far SE Tucson. It is worth the drive. Joe is the real deal - trust me.
