Brought our Boxer/American bulldog in for a uti. They put her on high doses of antibiotics and being a pharmacy technician I voiced my opinion about getting a yeast infection. The dr proceeded to say she will be fine with no problems and here we are a yeast infection. How is it that a pharmacy tech knew more then the dr? And now we will have to spend even more money when all of it could have been handled at once. So disappointed in VCA

Excellent staff and facilities! We brought a bird with respiratory issues. The vet and her tech (Dr. Petitbone and Amber) immediately put him on oxygen therapy then carefully and sympathetically explained the possible underlying problems, available treatments, and the prognosis (poor). Our bird passed later that day. The vet called us soon after to explain and offer sympathy. She and her staff sent a sympathy card. The office was prompt in refunding the unused part of our deposit.I feel confident that our pet received the best of care. I highly recommend these folks.

I can't be happier with the care my dog gets at the VCA. Dr. Coverdill is the absolute best!! He is so knowledgeable and will take the time to explain everything and will discuss the best treatments for your pet without being in a rush. You can just tell he cares! The staff has also always been very helpful and have been able to get us in for emergency appointments when needed and are amazing with follow up calls. I can't say enough about how great this place is! I am truly grateful for Dr. Coverdill and all the staff at VCA.Thank you all!!! ?

I've ended up here a few times for emergency services when our regular vet was unavailable. Everytime, they have been wonderful. Absolutely caring people doing good work who understand how much our non human family members mean to us. Thanks so much to the team here for always being awesome.

I have taken two dogs to be put to sleep and the caring, and companionship that I received was amazing and sincere. I have started taking my other dogs to be seen there because of the kindness that they showed me. My last visit was just a couple of days ago when my dog started to have issues with her ears and the vet Anne ZIatow and the technician were awesome. The pricing there is a little high, but the staff I believe makes up for it.

We had been struggling for a few weeks with Tibs health. He had seen two vets previously and received antibiotics. However, he started having seizures. It was a very aggressive tumor. The individuals that work here saw a most precious creation. They were there while our family said goodbye to our Best Friend. We were helped with preparations with kindness. We received their card today. Just kind people to bless our best Buddies. Thank you so very much.

Oh my goodness!!! I can’t sing the praises of this vet center enough to do it justice. Dr. Mele and the VCA team are true saviors and lost angels. The team saved my boys life! My 18 month old frenchie was attacked and sustained a broken jaw. We were sent to VCA for treatment and WOW was I impressed. Dr Mele is nothing short of a saint front from god. He save my baby boy. I will always be grateful

Kind and courteous staff. They've always taken care of me and my dogs no matter what time of day or situation. I recently had to rush up here after my Dutchie got into the trash and swallowed a feminine hygiene product. No other emergency clinic near me was open or available to see her, but as always, VCA Tucson was. I rushed her in, and they were able to enduce vomiting straight away. Because they were able to see her so quickly, the item she swallowed didn't move further into her GI tract and cause a blockage, which would have meant surgery. VCA not only saved her life but also prevented her from needing to undergo expensive and painful surgery. The Vet was even kind enough to not charge me full price since I knew exactly what she ate and got her in quickly. The staff here is so kind and helpful, it's the one place you can always rely on in the Tucson area (despite there being a shortage of Vets in the state) to be open and helpful during an emergency. I'm very grateful for this clinic and all of its staff. I haven't met a single vet or tech here that I didn't like. No matter how stressed or busy they are, they are always sincere and kind. Very knowledgeable, clean, and compassionate facility--highly recommend.

I brought my dog in during emergency hours, Technician Natalie and Dr.Varley helped us. I was really nervous and had so many questions and they were so patient with me. They helped Jo and were so amazing and knowledgeable. I recommend VCA so much, they definitely cemented that VCA is a wonderful place to take my pets and I'll continue to have them be my regular vet.

Last night I had to put my 15 year old Dog down. It was past my normal Vets hours so I called VCA. From the moment the Lady answered the phone to Vet Techs assistance getting him out of the Vehicle to Dr Canfield being so gracious and assuring me I was doing the right thing. . They made a very difficult situation much more peaceful. Thank you.

I took my dog here due to an internal bleeding issue and they told me that I'd have to wait 4-6 hours. So I decided is try somewhere else so they told me they would look at her to so what's going on faster then that due to my dog pooping blood. Then proceeded to check out vitals within 15-20 min. Told me after that I was next for the vet to see. I waited then took my dog out side to give her water then waited 4 hours. Went in and asked how much longer. Finally after 6 hours I went in and asked again and they told me maybe wait for 2 more hours. I finally just left after a discussion with Samantha on how my dogs non emergency even tho she is bleeding internally and I can just wait or leave. So I'd say not a good experience if avoid because your animal will grow old waiting to see a tech

I usually have bad experiences at the vet and was super nervous to come here, but my cat seemed really unwell so I brought him in. Madison, the vet tech, was amazing and very sweet. The veterinarian was very kind and knowledgeable too but it was a long night and I forgot her name. They took my concerns seriously and addressed the problem correctly. By the time we left, my cat was in way better spirits and acting like his normal self. Needless to say I felt so much better. I gave her a budget as well and she worked with it which I really appreciate. It was an extremely busy night for the staff and they still made my baby feel better. I appreciate you all

I paid 247.00 for this hospital to call PACC on animal cruelty charges because I couldn't afford the surgery of 8,000 plus. And when I asked for a payment plan, they never responded with a straight answer. They had me wait for 3+ hours and didn't help me. I finally got fed up with their games and told them I was taking my pet and leaving, and then they threatened me with calling PACC, which they did. I had to surrender my baby to be euthanized. I will never forgive this place for that.I also feel that racism was in play here. I am Mexican, and I work outside on a Ranch, so yes my clothes were dirty because I came straight from work, and my husband also works outside. They didn't bother to help us, and we were willing to try anything to help our pet. They also lock the door, and you have no way of leaving or recollecting your pet. It felt like a prison. It was the most awful and stressful experience of my life. And please don't respond to this saying, "I'm sorry for your experience, and please reach out to us to see how we can make things better,"because you guys should have done it from the start. We took our pet to you because we know PACC is at capacity and thought you guys could help us better. Boy, we're we wrong! Please do not come here expecting them to help you unless you super rich and white. You guys wonder why PACC is at capacity because you guys would rather charge a lot of money than save a life. My pet's memory stays with me forever. I won't even give you the satisfaction of knowing his name because he deserves more than that.
