It used to be great. That pharmacist retired. Then new computers, horribly overworked staff, it’s always a problem now. Not the individuals fault, corporate.

.25 Walgreens in south Tucson says that it's Walgreens policy to not refuse any state insurance program based on company policy as well because it's federally required to accept all state mandated federal insurance policies. When I explained this to the manager he started to laugh. As well both Pharmacy techs told me to figure out my insurance and come back on Monday this is after I had to fight the Walgreens in south Tucson trying to get my medications that are now 3 days late for bronchitis turned early onset namonia because they couldn't figure out how to get my medicare to go through their system saying non existent client even though after calling my insurance and getting confirmed that I do have insurance they just we don't have time to work on your order we've tried twice. As well I'm going to be loosing my right eye from the infection in it from working cleaning house share apartments and having to live in them with their dusts from exhaustion of moving myself fighting my low income as well by paying rent on 4 places in the last 2 months plus having to live out of a 3*5 storage unit that is stacked full from floor to ceiling. 0.25 stars is what I give this company Walgreens in general.

I bought two cans of orange soda because they were on sale at 2 for $4. However, I didn't get the discount because I don't have a store card. They fixed it, but it took time. So be aware that the sale prices are for people with a Walgreens card only. (You can get one for free, but it takes a little time and I was in a hurry.)

This pharmacy fails at most every aspect of pharmacy services! I’ve stood for 10 minutes while the pharmacist chatted away and neither he nor any other worker even looked at me. I had to go through the drive thru to get my script! Prescriptions are virtually never on time. Customer service is abysmal. I have been in trying to pry a prescription lose watching customers literally beg them for their medication. They really seem to have forgotten that they are in the business of dispensing medication not selling widgets. I’m giving CVS our business!

This is the absolute worst Walgreens pharmacy in Tucson. It’s not even close.

Uncaring and callous. Had an RX called in Monday. Called for status Tuesday. Message says "working on it, call back in an hour". Said the same thing the next 8 times I called over the next three days. Finally spoke to someone who says they closed it out without telling me or updating. They put in the wrong insurance info and just cancelled it, no communication, no concern about not having meds for days on end etc. Went to another pharmacy and had it done right away.

This is a typical Walgreens, and as a result, it is just like any other Walgreens. They have most of the same stuff, and also consists of a pharmacy, of which they are known for. This one seemed a little larger than some of the others I have visited, which is probably due to its proximity to so many other stores. My visit here was unexceptional. The store was stocked, clean, and the customer service was typical. As I browsed inside, a couple of employees asked me if I needed anything, which I appreciatively declined. I left with a couple of diet drinks in hand, alongside a bag of popcorn. Parking here was easy, and the path to the road was unencumbered of obstacles. A largely typical experience.

We took a urgent call at the house. Our neighbor who is 99 was given a course of antibiotics to be started tonight. She doesn't drive. I picked up the meds. There was a full staff behind the Pharmacy counter. They allowed my pick up with two security questions. And advised me what to tell her for taking the pills. No worries, nice clean store, lots of parking. In/ out ten minutes, tops.

I would give them zeros if I could. The walruses at the pharmacy counter are the nastiest women in the business, no offense to wildlife walruses!. Guess Walgreens wants to keep the customer base rather...small.

I stopped by to pick a prescription up at 9:15 a.m. and the pharmacy, which opens at 9:00, was closed. The very kind clerk at the front register had not been informed and was distressed that she couldn't tell anyone what was going on. I left and called later. It took two phone calls, lengthy holds, and speaking to at least three different people the latter two of which had no idea what I was talking about requiring me to go over it all again. I asked for delivery or transfer to a pharmacy that actually has staff members present during working hours, and they said I would have to call the other pharmacy to get the transfer. After waiting on hold and talking to a couple of people who had no idea what was going on, I hung up and did some deep breathing. I called back after my blood pressure decreased to measurable levels and the pharmacy manager agreed to get the transfer done on their end. This took nearly an hour, counting my time at the store. It truly seems like you can't get anything done on the first try anymore and this is a perfect example. The fact that nobody apologized until the middle of the second call tells me a lot about their customer service ethic. I would give this pharmacy a minus 5 if I could.

Prescription never ready on time. Always have to wait.
