I scheduled a flu shot and arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment. They had only one window open, people there for vaccinations and prescriptions were all in one line. At 10 minutes past my appointment I was fourth in line and had barely moved. Why schedule appointments you can't keep? I do not have time to stand there for 45 minutes or however long it would have taken. Just taking my chances with the flu instead.

I'm not sure how to update this. On one hand, I want to give them a rating of "1" but on the other hand a "4". I give them a "4" because the Pharmacists do so much, and are courteous, since they have to deal with a lot. On the other hand- I give them a "1" after they cancel your prescription after 3 weeks. It's not their fault since the FDA has cancelled (aka back ordered) tons of prescriptions until next year. Mainly it's an FDA problem. However- they just totally cancel any prescriptions you may have after 2-3 weeks. FDA is making pharmacies look so bad right now. This is sad.

I’ve had so many issues with this location that I’ve decided to go somewhere else.

Based on geographic convenience, I have reluctantly used this Walgreens location for the past 10 months - but today was the final day - no more. I neglected to write a negative review on 4/26/22 when getting a COVID booster, I had to return to the location and get someone to document my booster after the tech forgot to annotate my booster on my card. The Walgreen's response "My Bad". I get it, a simple mistake - but in the aggregate across the past ten months, too many "simple mistakes". I have had another booster appointment scheduled today, for a week, only to be called moments ago by Anna - who was polite, but she informed me the system double, and triple booked appts and that I was now cancelled. Walgreens offered no proposed solution and deterred me from coming in by chance someone would cancel - they indicated that was highly unlikely. This location has created numerous other inconveniences for me over the past 10 months - that went undocumented. Not this time. Goodbye Walgreens at 3200 Speedway...I can only hope you're a franchise and my google and yelp review coupled with my bad mouthing you at every BBQ and cocktail party either forces a change to your business practices or drives CVS to replace you. Good riddance.

Every third time, prescriptions are mysteriously "cancelled" and they have a different nonsense reason. Don't recommend if you actually need medications consistently and/or hate fighting to get them to do their job.

This Walgreens is so unprofessional. It is extremely hard to reach them by phone and when you do they will put you on hold for long, long periods of time. When the gal picked up and said, "Walgreens can you please hold" I said please wait and she had already put me back on hold and kept coming back every 5 minutes to do the same. They are also pricey. There's never enough people working. The drive through can take a half hour or longer. I am most disappointed in their pharmacy staff though. Unprofessional and rude.

Spent 45 minutes on hold with the pharmacy and then got hung up on. Went in to speak to someone and was told they didn’t know if they had received the prescription that was called in 6 hours earlier and had no way of checking. No suggestions to help, the attitude was that it was just too bad. My 6 yr old daughter needs the prescription today, so hoping they will call me with more info as I requested. I will update the review if things get worked out satisfactorily.Use another pharmacy if you can!!

The past 3 times I've been here I've been held up in the line over the register employees not knowing what to do. Had to walk away from the register after waiting in line because one register (the one with a drawer taking cash) was being held up and a manager was needed to resolve the issue. The only other register wouldn't accept my cash (no drawer) or Apple Pay (wouldn't work) and when I put my card in, the pin pad was broken so I couldn't enter my card pin. Had no choice but to leave because I was running late after waiting for so long to be cashed out for 2 items. Will never shop here again or recommend it to anyone.

Use this pharmacy as a last resort. Understaffed and stressed out- not answering the phones, not double checking that they have your prescription in stock. Taking longer than estimated filling prescriptions.

They let employees work that have been exposed to covid. I tried confronting the store manager and she hung up on me and got very defensive instead of being professional. So she was very aware that the company isn't doing all they can to protect customers. I also called the corporate office and they never called me back. Walgreens knows they are doing something wrong and that's why they won't communicate with concerned customers.

Avoid this pharmacy. They don't answer the phone and will cycle you through the menu over and over, hang-up on you, whatever they need to do to avoid taking your call. In person or in the drive through, you will also wait excessively for simple things. They never follow-up on requests. Overwhelmed and mismanaged.

Son went in to fill a prescription 10 mins prior to closing and they said they couldn’t fill it because they closed in 10mins. My son attends U of A and is far from home and extremely sick with a fever , upper respiratory infection and asthma issues Walgreens has no compassion to even fill a prescription for a young man this sick. Managers response was “if they said they can’t fill it they can’t fill it I guess”. Is this policy at all Walgreens pharmacy? If you close at 9 You should fill prescriptions till 9! However another option would have been to say “we have another store that’s 24hrs and I’ll send your script there to be filled” that would have been customer service! But they took his script and said come back tomorrow. I’ll reach out to corporate. Thanks for nothing Tom
