The service is awful. Using their drive up window is like having root canal without any Novacane, painful. Going inside is not much better. So you pick your own poison sitting in your own car for a half hour online or go in the store and wait about 20 minutes in line. It’s a bad place to go when you need an RX filled. Stay away unless you really want to test your own patience.

Do not schedule vaccines here, staff is incompetent and will have to re-enter all the info you filled in to schedule the appointment. Should be fast and not take 15 minutes to get checked in.

Very disappointing experience at the pharmacy. I am a physician in town and have checked on many pharmacies in Tucson. This was particularly bad. Long wait line at pharmacy, surly employee who checked me in for a scheduled vaccine appointment. Another long wait for the actual vaccination. Spent more than an hour waiting due to inadequate staffing. My wife spoke to a manager who kept repeating that she had no input regarding scheduling. Note: I saw this same manager interact with another customer. She was officious and surly (much like the pharmacy employee mentioned earlier).Other pharmacy employees could not respond to questions regarding wait times. Two were questioned (they were together when the question was asked) but seemed pretty inept. They did not even know which vaccines they were giving.Overall, lots of excuses, little expertise, very questionable competence.

Kudos to the new pharmacist! He vaccinated my entire family today for the new COVID and flu, and administered the first dose of the shingles vaccine. The pharmacy was crazy busy, just a crush of people lined up inside, at the drive-thru, and the phone ringing non-stop at the pharmacy, but the staff handled it well and with smiles and he led the way. Thank you for protecting me and my family today!

When was the last time you had a good experience at Walgreens? I can't remember mine. Pharmacy "can't" order the generic but expect me to pay out of pocket for their incompetence.

They clearly don't know what they're doing. On May 2nd they sent a text saying "We didn't receive approval to refill Rx". I called them and asked them if they talked to the doctors or insurance, and they said they faxed them (not stating if it was one or both). I asked if they could try calling, that maybe they'd get an answer easier. She said she would. On May 4th they sent a text saying "your Walgreens Rx is DELAYED". So, I waited for the results. Four days later, they sent this text "We didn't receive approval to refill Rx". The same text they originally sent six days ago.I took my prescription to Wal-Mart (one intersection down the road) and asked if they would refill the prescription for me. They said they would have to check and see. I waited only TEN MINUTES for them to check it and refill it! How in the world did it take Walgreens over a week to try and refill it and say they can't do it, but Wal-Mart was able to fill it in only TEN MINUTES?They are not worth the wasted time and hassle.

The actual pharmacy hours should be posted on the site and at the store NOT the fake hours they have posted now. Get your prescriptions early they close at 6 pm!

Pharmacy does not have enough staff. 20 minutes in the drive thru and I am still waiting. Very frustrating and this is not the only occurrence.

WARNING!!! I have sat for over 1 hour on Sat Oct 1 for my COVID booster appointment. It took over 45 minutes to check in. They then told me after an hour that my appointment was for Oct 2 not Oct 1 (even though I had a text showing it was Oct 1). I left to return on October 2 allto a complete mess!!! 45 minutes and they still have not checked in any of the six people waiting. My appointment was for 3:15 and it was now 3:55. The woman in front of me in the line was in an electric wheelchair. She told the man at the desk that she was almost blind and would need help filling out her COVID form.....he proceeded yelling across the counter all the health questions and repeating her answers. I can tell you every cancer she has had, every prescription she is taking and every allergy or concerns she had. TOTALLY against HIPAA! I was so embarrassed for her because all of us in the waiting area heard this. When it was my turn, the information they had printed out with my name had a completely different patient's information on it. Totally an unknown address, telephone number etc. I am wondering where did all of my information go to? Again, HIPAA violation for giving out another person's personal information. They took my COVID cards to the back and finally called me back to the room (1 hour and 20 minutes later) to only find out that they do not carry Moderna boosters but only Pfizer boosters. When I went online to complete all the forms (they said they did not get them) I requested Moderna and they said that it was available at this Walgreens. This is ridiculous! If you give them any of your personal information or if you request an appointment online, beware where that information might go! There is no way I will ever set foot in a Walgreens again! TOO SCARRY

Renewing passport is such a hassle but taking the picture for the new passport is even more so. Many establishments are giving out false information about taking your picture. Check online the actual rules and regulations. Driving from another state for a passport appointment to find out I needed to have another picture on hand I stopped at the closest Walgreens to find out they were out of paper however I was fortunate enough to have the manager print the forms I needed then off to another location. Driving to the next Walgreens I was told I couldn't not wear white. I didn't plan on outfit changes but packed an extra top just in case I had to stay over. Switching to a black top I was then told I couldn't wear a sleeveless top now. Panicked I found a black and white stripped sleeved top to change into. After 3 outfit changes as well as 3 pictures being told I couldn't smile, I wasn't standing straight enough and then the picture didn't take. I was now beyond annoyed because my email for my appointment and or online didn't have such rules for my photo. After all this arriving at my appointment to be asked why I didn't smile in the picture and that any clothing top or color would have been accepted. Not only would they have printed the forms I needed they can also take your picture so my panicking was all for nothing. For anyone needing a passport picture look online for the new rules and don't listen to the staff if it isn't in line with the website.

This store needs to hire more staff. Their pharmacy moves extremely slow.
