Best customer service experience ever!! I needed a passport photo, went to inquire early about making an appointment. Instead, I was immediately greeted at the photo counter and left in 10 minutes with my passport photo. Excellent customer service and a good photo!!

This Walgreens pharmacy is horrible! Always changing hours or closing early! Changed to CVS so far no issues.

I have an autoimmune disease that causes severe pain. I also have scoliosis and an old thoracic disc fracture that flare up. So at my doctor appointment this morning, my doctor prescribes a 7-day supply of time-released pain medication so that I can sleep, without waking up frequently due to pain, until my scheduled injections next Friday. At 3 PM, I called Walgreens to make sure my prescription had been received. They confirmed that yes, it was received, and I could pick it up in a couple hours. At 6 PM, I drive 30 minutes to pick up my prescription. I am told that my insurance does not cover it. I tell them that’s ok, it’s only a one-week supply, I will pay for it out-of-pocket. They tell me that the pharmacist will go ahead and fill it, and that it won’t be ready until 8:30. I drive around for 2 hours, in pretty awful pain, because I don’t want to drive 30 minutes home and 30 minutes back, then 30 minutes home again. At 8:30 PM, I return to pick up my prescription. I am told that it cannot be filled because insurance won’t pay. I reiterate that I will pay out-of-pocket. I am then told that they are unable to dispense medications when insurance won’t cover it. I question why that is a policy, and I’m told it’s because I have AHCCCS, and it’s an AHCCCS rule. Ok, I say, no problem. I’m not using AHCCCS anymore because I have employer insurance effective Jan. 1. So run it through my employer insurance instead, because that is the insurance I will be using from now on. So they run it through my employer insurance, and tell me that my employer insurance will not cover it either. That’s fine, I say, I still don’t mind paying for it out of pocket. At that point, I am told again that they cannot dispense medication that the insurance will not cover. I question that, since it is apparently an AHCCCS policy, and I am now using employer insurance. So the AHCCCS policy should no longer apply. Now they tell me that I still have AHCCCS connected to my user profile in their system. OK, I say, remove it from my profile because I am no longer using it. No can do, they tell me. At this point, I am literally in tears, because I am so frustrated from being in constant pain. I tell the pharmacist that I am upset that I was not told in my first two contacts with the pharmacy that this was going to be a problem. They should have known, and saved me a few hours of driving. At this point, the pharmacist shrugs and says, “Well, I guess you can just go to the emergency room if it’s that bad.” Needless to say, I will be transferring my prescriptions to CVS. ‼️‼️ UPDATE!!! And it gets even worse!!!‼️‼️ This morning I found out that my provider has an after-hours doctor on duty. I called, explained the situation, and the doctor said he could send in a different prescription, no problem. A couple hours later, I called Walgreens to make sure that they have received the prescription and would fill it. I was told that the prescription had not been received. So I called back to the after hours line, and let them know that my pharmacy had not received the prescription. They check, and assure me that the prescription was sent to the pharmacy. I called the pharmacy back to let them know that my prescription should have been received. This time, I am told that it has been received, but that it is out of stock at the pharmacy. I asked them to transfer it to a different Walgreens where the prescription is in stock, and I am told that they cannot do that without permission from the pharmacy manager, who will not be in until Monday. I am clearly frustrated, and I’m sure it is evident in my tone of voice, and I reply that I will most definitely be contacting the pharmacy manager on Monday. A few short minutes later, the pharmacy staff calls me back, and tells me that they have discovered a small stock of the medication. I am assured that it will be ready for pick up in 30 minutes. My friend and I drive to the pharmacy to pick up the prescription. We go through the drive-thru, and double check the prescription insert that is s

What Pharmacy doesn't have a pharmacist?! I needed medicine for my child that they couldn't fill because of not having a pharmacist. Then when I went back the next day, they did not fill the prescription. We ended up having to go to the Pharmacy on Cortaro and this pharmacy was completely incompetent and did nothing to help!

This store sells old candy. They haven't restocked with new. They put some of the old candy on sale. Candy tastes old and stale.

Excellent customer service from the front door to the pharmacy. I was in a car accident and have moved a major part of my shopping to this store. This change has been a direct result of their great customer service. I believe the store managers name is Troy he has really helped me recently with my disability and getting my much needed supplies. Thank you

Horrible they don't follow the CDC guidelines as promised here. The other one off 1st and tangerine does. So wondering why? Isn't Walgreens for health and safety especially during COVID-19? So confused...

I normally use Rite Aid to fill my prescriptions but I was in town on business and this location is near my hotel and on the way to my worksite. I suffered a migraine headache and was caught without my medicine so I came by this location at 7am and the cashier gave me the phone number to the pharmacy that opens at 9. I called them and explained the situation so that they could contact my pharmacy and transfer the script. After my work day was over I stopped in to pick up my prescription but found the request to have it transferred had not even begun? And the people in the pharmacy couldn't even estimate a price because it would depend on my insurance, but nobody asked for my insurance card or offered to look it up and so I left back to my hotel without my medicine. Never received a call or text informing me that the prescription was ready. I woke up again with a Migraine and just drove right by this Walgreens cursing myself for having wasted time and effort. Honestly some veterinarians would care for your pet better. I doubt anybody working the pharmacy here has ever had a migraine headache..... luckily for me the cashier suffered from occasional migraines and suggested coconut water which did seem to have a positive affect. She was many times more compassionate than anybody working in the pharmacy. They should give her a raise!

Staff was helpful in making sure I got what I needed, it's awesome when they have sales they I can come out on top from. I use to always shop at the Cortaro store, but with Ina Rd being messed up everyone and their brother is over there now. Besides, this one is closer to my house. I wish they'd open earlier and stay open a little later. Sometimes they're not open when I need them. Overall though, it's clean and they usually have what I need!
