The nice thing about Walgreens is it's a convenience store as much as a drugstore so they carry some of the items that I need sometimes from Viva paper towels, Laundry soap,to food- some groceries and typical convenience store things like chips, donuts, pop, water and ice cream. The first aid items are extensive, and they have a large health and beauty area. They also have a small household supply area and school and office area. The customer service was great. I had two different staff members who took me directly to the item I was looking for. When the line started to get long, they called someone up to the front right away. Just remember, it's about expectations. Everyone is understaffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. I really try to look them in the eye when I'm checking out and tell them I appreciate the work they're doing. It's a small thing, but I try to be kind and appreciative each time .

They don't have an ATM at this location anymore bc of a past incident with theft. Ridiculous, considering that this is one of the nicest areas in Tucson. I really wish they had one here. Most Walgreens stores do. Also the energy was lacking—not many customers. If you are looking for a Walgreens with an ATM there's one down the road a bit on Grant & Swan that has an AllPoint ATM, and that location is open 24/7.

.25 Walgreens in south Tucson says that it's Walgreens policy to not refuse any state insurance program based on company policy as well because it's federally required to accept all state mandated federal insurance policies. When I explained this to the manager he started to laugh. As well both Pharmacy techs told me to figure out my insurance and come back on Monday this is after I had to fight the Walgreens in south Tucson trying to get my medications that are now 3 days late for bronchitis turned early onset namonia because they couldn't figure out how to get my medicare to go through their system saying non existent client even though after calling my insurance and getting confirmed that I do have insurance they just we don't have time to work on your order we've tried twice. As well I'm going to be loosing my right eye from the infection in it from working cleaning house share apartments and having to live in them with their dusts from exhaustion of moving myself fighting my low income as well by paying rent on 4 places in the last 2 months plus having to live out of a 3*5 storage unit that is stacked full from floor to ceiling. 0.25 stars is what I give this company Walgreens in general.

Over and Over again..I have spoken with managers regarding the disrespectful and racist behavior of 'one' staffer at this location ..the person continues to be employed there! District area manager refuses to contact me.... before I transfer my pharmacy account to a different business...I will probably file for violation of my civil rights and discrimination...if this woman/staffer was a person of color..she would have been fired by now...but since I am person of color filing the complaint.. management has ignored my numerous complaints!

They do not order medication’s on time. Customer service representatives put you on hold and then never pick up. When you hang up and try to call back the message at the beginning is so long it’s extremely frustrating. The pharmacist is friendly, and although he/she/they do not order medication’s in a timely manner. They are courteous. Thus the two stars are for the pharmacist.

I went to this Walgreens (River & Craycroft) earlier today on a Sunday morning and was approached by a homeless man INSIDE the store to ask if I could buy him some items. I’m sorry, but I don’t think Walgreens’ employees should be allowing this to happen in their stores to customers who just want to pick up some items quickly and leave. The cashier was aware that this guy asked me to buy him stuff and didn’t say anything. I don’t think I will be returning to this Walgreens and probably no other Walgreens ever again. I know that homelessness is getting worse in Tucson, but Walgreens needs to do a better job of protecting their paying customers from panhandlers especially inside their stores. I also need to mention that I was by myself and felt a little uncomfortable and vulnerable when this happened to me.

I bought two cans of orange soda because they were on sale at 2 for $4. However, I didn't get the discount because I don't have a store card. They fixed it, but it took time. So be aware that the sale prices are for people with a Walgreens card only. (You can get one for free, but it takes a little time and I was in a hurry.)

Called to see if they have an ATM at this location, and they don't. Kind worker though. ? If you are looking for a Walgreens with an ATM there's one down the road a bit on Grant & Swan that has an AllPoint ATM, and that location is open 24/7.

One of - if ??? THE VERY - WORST Walgreens EVER to be avoided at Tanque Verde & Sabina Canyon Road!Pharmacy hours are very limited because of no Sundays at all; those in the pharmacy seem as if they are working underwater and are mighty depressed, probably because they cannot breathe in their jobs…Cheap owner, whose underwhelming attempt to revitalize a very sad bifurcation in his store - limited booze on one side ??? drugstore on the other - has made stock almost nonexistent for OTC items for the 4+ years we❜ve lived around the corner - and been forced to use ANY other drugstore because of his ownership, whether he❜s got personal excuses or not, it❜s just a terrible business plan. The whole mini-shopping ?????? sports the same low-rent versions as of a major grocery ??? a few other small shops at a very busy intersection in an area overflowing with lots of people snapping up what are - in their perspectives - very cheap homes, as they run from the floods ??? hurricanes in the East, and from the fires and the quakes in the West…I don❜t see how this store - or even this sadly repainted (in an invisible, bland gray no less) shopping complex - will last very long, once a real developer sets his eyes (and coastal big bucks!) on this antiquated set of small ??? so sad versions of chain stores - ❜though it with some excellent exceptions of course which I do hope will last through the obvious need for an upcoming mega-conversion! I hope the good people get to stay after the dynamiting ?!

God forbid you need your medication and it’s an emergency! Don’t tell me they’re gonna be ready but they're really not!

By far the rudest customer service I've ever experienced at a drugstore... ever

This is a typical Walgreens, and as a result, it is just like any other Walgreens. They have most of the same stuff, and also consists of a pharmacy, of which they are known for. This one seemed a little larger than some of the others I have visited, which is probably due to its proximity to so many other stores. My visit here was unexceptional. The store was stocked, clean, and the customer service was typical. As I browsed inside, a couple of employees asked me if I needed anything, which I appreciatively declined. I left with a couple of diet drinks in hand, alongside a bag of popcorn. Parking here was easy, and the path to the road was unencumbered of obstacles. A largely typical experience.

They said they took all insurances, showed up after 3 days of waiting to a rude pharmacist who said it was my fault for asking Walgreens and not the insurance and that they in fact did not take my insurance. The pharmacist could have made up for the bad call center information but instead acted unprofessional. Even if they did accept our insurance we had already decided not to keep our meds at this particular Walgreen's because of the time delays and pharmacy mismanagement.
