I had to call Golf Links and Houghton Rd today about availability of a car battery around 2:30pm from the Speedway store. (The employee there that I asked for helped was of no help whatsoever and walked away from me when he saw a friend and they commenced to backslapping and high-fiving) The representative Sarah who answered the phone at the Houghton store was the most pleasant person I’ve ever spoken to at a Walmart over the phone. She was wonderful to speak to and readily answered my questions. When I went to the store and purchased the battery and other items I got an error message on the register. I was approached by the kindest and sweetest young man named Ethan who helped me get that squared away with a smile on his face the whole time. Ethan reminded me to retain the receipt for as long as I have the battery for warranty purposes. I wish all Walmart employees were like these two because 1. Having to get a car battery in an emergency basis pretty much messes up your day, and 2 they made my day easier and better. Walmart, using these two employees as the benchmark for Walmart service would dramatically improve Walmarts reputation across the board. Thank you Sarah and Ethan. You made a lousy day better and I appreciate your efforts.

I often (weekly) do grocery pick-up here, and the man who brings me my groceries (most EVERY time) has made me uncomfortable in the past by being overly casual and friendly with me, asking about my life and saying things like "we have to take good care of our regular customers!"
And I find it odd that he always brings out my order, no matter what place I am in the queue. It's very obvious.
We spoke to a manager previously about the repeated behavior and it stopped for a little while.
(I should note that unless 2 people come out to load the groceries, I will generally help the one person who brings them load them into the car.)
So I picked up groceries tonight at approximately 5:35pm. He was there and brought out the groceries. When he got to the car, I was on my phone checking some messages from earlier in the day, but I gave him my name. Then he listed all the items that were unavailable or substituted (you also suck at being in stock on certain things all the time) and I said ok. The trunk was open and I was busy on my phone but he literally stood and stared at me for a solid 10 seconds or more while I was responding to a text... until I looked up at him and said "can we get this loaded? I have to go." Needless to say, I helped and then got out of there. I won't return unless I know he won't bring my groceries out. It's just too creepy.

Hate the fact that there is so many employees head down in phones. But complain about how little they make. Dwayne every time I show up greets me and points me to a register suited for the shopping I’ve done. So im not waiting for 30m with 2 item and so I also don’t hog a lane meant for small items.
The short bald asset protection dude I wack. He seem very predatory and follows me to the register but I have not stolen anything and always have a receipt. But the big ole black man at the front and Mart as well are lovely people. They make the kiddos super happy every time
