Update: my dresser was delivered yesterday ahead of schedule and swiftly. Thank you, west elm!
Came in last weekend to buy a dresser. I was quickly approached by one of the designers, Maria Marcy. She was helpful and informative.
I bought the piece a couple of days later online. Hopefully, all goes well. I’ve been reading some of the nightmare delivery stories so ???.

While we love many of the products, and the sales people are great, actually getting furniture delivered is a nightmare. Apparently the delivery end of the business is completely dysfunctional. We ordered furniture for our living / dining room 4 months ago and have yet to see many of the pieces. I waited at home for 2 days last week, only to have delivery rescheduled a week later due to "truck broke down". A week later - same story - "truck broke down". Now the delivery is rescheduled for 2 weeks from now. I'm beginning to think I have been scammed.

I purchased several thousand dollars of bespoke living room and den furniture from West Elm. And did so with the help of my licensed interior designer. Selecting and purchasing the pieces and coverings was easy due to the vast array of options and the helpful and knowledgeable West Elm staff.Because they were to be constructed to order I knew, and was prepared to accept, a few months wait. The pieces arrived on time, were beautifully constructed and packed for shipment and delivery, all of it in perfect condition and as ordered.Courtesy to designers was VERY much appreciated and the service was top shelf great.I'll be back.

Was in there today, and out of, pottery barn, and William Sonoma- besides crate and barrel. West Elm was such a pleasant experience for my family today. Maria made sure as a black family, that we felt included in regard to picking out fabrics, and being apart of the purchasing process. She made us feel welcome, and not out of place and treated us like "humans". William Sonoma, and pottery barn could learn from Maria and west elm.

Nightmarish experience trying to buy a mattress. It was listed “in stock” and expected to arrive 3 weeks after the order was placed. The delivery date kept getting pushed back and it became clear after many calls back to the store and the customer service line that no one at West Elm even knew where the mattress was or had any inclination to take responsibility for the problem. Finally decided to cancel the order and had to jump through so many hoops just to get my money back after waiting 6 weeks for a mattress that never came.

Customer service, staff member Makayla specifically. Visiting from out of town, about to purchase pillows that are currently 15% off, she goes to can it and insisted that the pillows were not on sale. Other staff member, who was very sweet pulled the tag out to show it was on sale. Makayla did not want to give us the discounted price, it was so unprofessional to 1) belittle a staff member trying to do the right thing 2) not honor the sale price on the tag. Very unfortunate for west elm Tucson to have such a sour person your only store here. Would have expected more. Here is the sale price on the tag. That she fought not to give.

Love West Elm, but hate their third party delivery provider! Arizona is the only place we have had this issue with! 5 months delay because the delivery company keeps damaging custom pieces. we have spent more time on the phone and in store trying to "solve" this only to be giving the run around. As a B2B customer and regular customer very disappointed with West Elm.

This rating is based off the entire process of buying and receiving (well, still waiting to receive) a product from West Elm.We bought a bed in March of 2022 and specifically chose it because it was "in stock" on both their website and their store inventory computers. We were told by the West Elm employee that delivery was only about 2 weeks out. In-store workers were friendly and everything in their showroom is very nice. 5 star for in-store experience. However that's were the good ends.Our delivery date passed and nothing. 2 months passed and nothing. We called and they say they are waiting on a single part but don't know when it's coming and can't give a delivery date. 3 months passed and finally they say the product is ready for delivery. They show up on the day and realize West Elm didn't order certain parts needed to build the bed. We called West Elm and they have no estimate date for these parts to get here.So here we are, going on 4 months of waiting for product that was "in-stock". West Elm may have nice items but the headache of actually receiving them is not worth it. There are many other stores that have similar products with much better customer service and delivery service. Go with those guys. You'll probably get your items before we get ours.

Staff is always rude here and they never have anything in stock, I mean literally anything that is not furniture, they do not carry. Yet don't offer free shipping options for their lack of stock. I've given up trying to shop at this store.

West Elm is one of those stores that I really want to love. Items looks decent online but in person I always end up questioning the quality. This store is laid out ok. Something about it leave a bit to be desired. I can't quite put my finger on it. While online shopping seems to be most peoples preference, I really value the in person shopping experience especially when it comes to furniture and large long term items. It's super important for me to be able to see, Sit, touch and test out couches, chairs, tables etc. wishing they had a little more inventory at this store.

Don't get anything shipped to the store-- they will refuse to help you! Although I've ordered most my furniture from west elm in the past I was dismayed at the lack of customer service at this location when I asked for help with an order they recommended be shipped to the store for pickup. I'll bring my business elsewhere in the future.

Others have commented on what is available. The presentation is good and the staff are helpful BUT ... The posted price is a Bait and Switch. We purchased a dining room table (tag-said 1299). At checkout we were informed of a manditory $299 "delivery fee". Do the math ... the actual price was 23% above the tag price. Buyer beware.
