Beautiful resort and the views were gorgeous. Our room was very clean and more than enough space for all 5 of us. It was a last minute stay for us and the staff was extremely accommodating.

I had the pleasure of attending a work event at this hotel. The meeting space and food was great. Best part and a reason I would return was the groundskeeper Raymundo offers a nature tour daily in the mornings. It was fascinating to learn about the property and the surrounding nature. It gave me a huge new appreciation towards the desert. I do wish the gal that checked me in gave me more information about the property and their transportation offerings. Someone in our group ended up getting a ride to a sweet trailhead I wish I knew about. I had to ask all the questions and felt like I was annoying her. If you want nice views and more in the wilderness this is a great spot. Also very close to a great botanical garden.

Disclaimer: My accommodations were paid for as part of an event. The grounds and meeting spaces are beautiful. Catering was yummy and well managed. They had washcloths in the public restrooms that you could use instead of paper towels, which was nice. The guest rooms are actually 4-plex villas that can be as far away from the main building as .3 miles, with a little elevation, and not very well marked paths. The rooms were dirty, with hair on the floors and in the sinks and a little mold in the shower. The flat surfaces didn't get wiped down with daily cleaning. If it were clean, I could see this being a really nice setup for families, and there's talk of adding basketball and pickleball courts near the main building complex. Even though you are close to shops, the property does feel like it's "away", with little road noise and lots of wildlife.

What a Great surprise!! I booked this through Tripadvisor, and was very very pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s amazing location, excellent service, beautifully appointed rooms, amazing bar and Terrace and reasonable restaurant prices. I would highly highly recommend this resort hotel. Pricing is excellent considering the quality of the accommodations and the quality of the property

Ok! To Start this is my second stay, my first stay was about 3 yrs ago, the first room was not what I'd booked & it was in a need of a repair, I did ask for a different room & ended with a Casita with a wonderful desert view. This time I also was getting the wrong room it got changed to a very nice room, I did not say anything but it was still not the desert view I booked it overlooked buildings to the east. With being in the Cleaning business I am very picky, so looking over the room I do not think the one bed had been changed so I slept in the other one, the wall vent in the entry needed cleaned/dusted it has dust fuzz. The property is Beautiful, nice trails, sunset views, very good location, everyone was friendly, my room was updated since last visit & noticed the lobby etc was much more cared for, my first stay it all seemed old & dusty.I always read reviews before I stay anywhere on my travels & I post reviews also, I you tube on the travels also.Would I stay here again? A BIG YES!

We are local, but needed a place to stay while work was being done to our house. The location is beautiful. If it wasn't in the triple digit temps, I would have loved to take a walk through the trails and take a horseback ride. Nevertheless, we were warmly greeted at the front desk. Plenty of spaces to park in. It felt safe with good lighting for the evening. Our room was clean and tidy with a nice view. We received a lovely welcome fruit and cheese plate, I assume for our Wyndham Rewards status. It was nice and quiet and we were grateful we could bring our dog. I was disappointed to find our tray set outside by the cleaning crew and forgotten. I picked up the trash that was flying around and set the tray on top of the nearest garbage can by the ice machine. Other than that, all was lovely until 2:30 am on our last day. I woke up and found about a thousand small ants all over the desk and in our dog's water bowl. It didn't seem worth switching rooms in the middle of the night so I put the bowl outside and tried to kill what I could and hoped they didn't feel like coming to the bed side of the room. I know it's the desert and there are all kinds of creatures trying to survive, but it didn't make for a very restful night. We hope to enjoy another stay without all the uninvited guests.

Stayed 1 night at this resort. As soon as we walked in, we found a big dead cockroach in the bathroom. The room was adequate, but very plain for a high end resort. The TV was very small, the screen door to the balcony was coming off the hinges, very hard to open and close. Siding outside on the balcony was torn apart with nails exposed. The shower knob was on the verge of falling off, had to be very careful when turning on and off. The cabinet to the refrigerator was on the verge of coming off, had to be careful with that as well. Curtains had some stains on it and the list goes on. I honestly was expecting more out of a higher end resort for the cost of the room. This was our very first time being there and I don't think it's worth the money I paid for for the room. I think the resort needs to invest in some remodeling. I normally don't complain, but I don't think we will return to this resort. The property was beautiful, but our experience was just sub par. The lobby and guest services staff were great. Our stay at the Westin La Paloma was far better. Not what I expected. We stayed in section 6, room B144...

We always have a great time staying here! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice & comfortable & the salt water pool is heated. The restaurants & room service don’t have a large selection for kids but we made it work. My only recommendation is that if the little pool bar had a blender to make frozen drinks it would be 5/5 stars for sure!

Beautiful historic resort recently remodeled. Resorts sits on 80 acres of beautiful desert landscaping and views of the Catalina mountains. It is very quiet and peaceful. Two Restaurants with top-class food. Everything we ate was superb. There are 3 nice pools. The Day Spa is quaint; the Herbal Detox Wrap was fantastic.

We stayed two nights and our first visit at the resort. Staff were very kind and helpful. Was offered a upgrade for an extra $15 a night. Wasn’t worth it. The entry to our room has trash and someone’s room service had sat there for two days. Beds were small - Double but for an upgrade that shouldn’t have been the case. Second night there was a lot of police activity in our section. Amenities were nice - tennis court you could rent the tennis supplies for $5 which was great.Rooms: Room size was great. Very small beds.

I came down from Phoenix for a little R&R, and this experience was exactly what I wanted!Thank you Austin, John and Diane for a wonderful front desk check-in and check out.My suite has the best views for sunsets on the balcony. The room is superior and the bed, wow, so comfortable. The larger pool was located by my room and I spent three glorious days laying by the pool, under the palm trees and gazing at mountain views.I took several mediation strolls throughout the property. The labyrinth is my favorite spot.I ordered room service one evening, the steak and fries were tasty. Great menu!Lots of beautiful areas on the property. Wildlife is abundant here. Hummingbirds, butterflies, cardinals and of course, our desert favorites.I am returning to this fantastic resort. It has everything anyone can ask for and you don't have to leave the property if you choose not too.Check it out, you'll love it❤️
