I like this place. They always have the things I need.The staff is friendly and professional. They are also knowledgeable.I also appreciate they give treat to my pup when she’s with me.

Went there today for some inspiration, after looking at a new house I'm buying. Immediately was singled out due to my skin color. My fiancé and I were in there for over 20 minutes, and was not asked one time if we needed help. Granted, there weren't too many customers in the store. There were more employees than customer, and I made sure to keep my children by my side as we browsed. We were finally asked, after being followed for a majority of the time we were in there, after I had to get her attention in order for her to "do her job". She had been watching us so hard, that we actually ended up finding the item we needed, while teaching her where it was. What made it so bad, is that a non-black employee in West Elm informed us of how nasty and racist the employees are in William Sonoma. That is really unfortunate, being that those companies are just about the same. Very disgusting treatment, and will not return, hadn't been there in 4 years, and it was my Fiancé's first time there- NEVER AGAIN.

After being singled out due to my skin color, I'd like to express my experience in a more polite but concise manner. This afternoon , I went shopping with my mom to look at kitchenware for our family. Throughout our time in the store, I felt targeted solely because of my darker skin tone. One of the staff members kept following me, repeatedly asking if I needed assistance. I had only opened a case of lollipops that my mom intended to purchase, so my toddlers could be occupied. As we were leaving after completing our purchase, she continued to trail me, closely observing my every move ,even following me to the door. This situation made me extremely uncomfortable, to the extent that I have no intention of returning to the store. It's important to remember that it is now 2023, and labeling everyone as a criminal is unfair and unwarranted.

I must not have looked like I belonged in this store. The sales person told me To go to the Container Store. I took my business to Craft and Barrel.

I recently purchased a Wüsthof knife and do enjoy the product, however, the knife sharpening service was extremely disappointing. My knife was left in worse condition: duller and with chips. I would recommend getting your sharpening services done elsewhere.

My first time here and I felt a little out of place as a 40 year old bearded dad ,I came to look at cast iron pans (I do the cooking at home ) the ladies here saw I was over welmed and answered every question I had with real knowledge not just scripted responses, I ended up ordering a staub braiser and lid .

Always the place to go when your pocket is flush with cash because you can get things there that you don't find in other places. Staff has always been very helpful about getting gifts ready.

I bought a nespresso machine in November for my brother for Christmas. It was never shipped and after 4 months of customer service reassuring that we would get one of the next shipments, the item became permanently out of stock. My brother had already spent $100 in pods for the machine, but because of the supply quantity, the cost of the machine had gone up $89 from the time I originally placed the order. Had I know WS was not going to get another shipment, I would have ordered the machine for the cheaper price somewhere else around Christmas time. Customer service was very unhelpful and I had to call several times to get my refund.
