A friend and I took two separate courses here. We were both incredibly pleased with the helpfulness of the instructors and the quality of the classes.

The store itself is ausome. It's like looking at a catalog in person. We found the staff to be standoffish and boardering on rude. There are other stores in Tucson to buy hardwood from. If you are looking for hardwood with a friendly helpful staff. DON'T go here! Google someplace else!

Wayyyyy too many fun things in this place, from tools to slabs. I lose focus here, and things pull at the edges of my wallet.

Love this place! I spent an hour browsing and speaking with staffer Sharon. First off, she didn't grimace when I told her I make miniatures - happens in other shops with similar supplies & tools! She helped me figure out how to make the tool I need, something not available for minis. Can't wait to go back and spend a few bucks on useful "toys"!

Very nice with all items regarding woodworking. Lots of species of wood, lots of chisels, sand paper... Anything you may need they very likely have it.

I just got a lathe, had some scrappers and was trying to figure out how to use them. I went to Woodcraft because I thought the scrappers I had were defective and I needed to buy some new ones because the cuts on the wood I was turning looked rough and uneven. At the store I was greeted by Chris, who walked me through their selection of gouges and scrappers and helped me understand what each of them were for. He gave me a lot of great advise in how to start woodturning on a lathe. He walked me through some books that he recommended for people just starting out in lathe turning and in a very kind way suggested that it was probably user error that was giving me poor results not the tools and gave me some tips to try. He actually teaches a monthly class on lathe turning that I'm hoping to attend in the future. Using the tips he gave me I was able to go home and see huge improvements. I was able to make some wands for my Harry Potter loving kids. Love the level of knowledge and high level of customer service I consistently get here.

I absolutely love this place! I had two long planks of rescued sequoia wood and Elliot turned them into incredible tables for me. He sanded them down and polished them and they look absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! His work exceeded every expectation I could have imagined! They came out stunningly beautiful and I could not be happier! Thank you so much Elliot! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Relocated from DC - had an expensive desk get damaged in shipment (Read custom from Italy $3K+). While this is not restuarant review, the employee Cass went above and beyond in helping me. She personnaly assisted in finding me a piece of wood to replace the broken piece and THEN took it in the back room to cut it perfectly to fit my requirement. I don't do a lot of wood / craft type projects - but the customer service at this store is worth your stop if you do....thank you again Cass and thank you Rich for taking my call.

I am a seasoned, serious woodworker and the clerks in the store are so knowledgeable about tools, finishes, adhesives, and woodworking techniques I never go anywhere else!

Customer service was horrible. This person didn't want to do their job and wanted me to look up the item I'm looking for on their website so I can call back and give it to them.

Poor planning for demonstration. Product was stacked in front of presenter. Tall people in front. Product was not shown. Just pointed toward, on the shelf. No specific of mixing or time to cure. ie. Read the fine print labels?

This is a store where you can travel back to the origins of woodworking, the building blocks of getting a job done right simply by measuring, cutting, and fitting together raw materials and creating a beautiful result. Get it here. And learn it in line of the classes or books.
