I don't get to the post often . But I expect service when I show up. Sit in front of the bartender, with card ready . For three minutes she can't break away from a personal conversation . I decided she wouldn't serve me . So I walked out . I won't re-up at this post !

The members and guests at this post are some of the most amazing people I've ever met in the bar business. Most of the staff, the commander and people on the committees are awesome as well. I absolutely loved working there. If not for the unknowledgeable, inexperienced management of the bar, this place would have been one of best jobs I've had in my 35 years behind a bar. I'm old school and still believe in customer service. Having a supervisor wave off customer requests, saying they'll drink what we have, was new to me. Being told to slow down because members are used to waiting, was shocking. It's better to have a few faster ones, rather than having them all equally slow. Running out of the most used alcohol while having new unknown items only the manager wanted, was also new. I have moved on but am irritated because I believe the people at this establishment deserve the best service and the items they like. Hopefully at some point, they'll hire a bar manager that is at least half as good as everyone else there. They deserve the best
