My girlfriend and I were in town for the weekend and made it a mission to go by this store and I’m so glad we did. Peter was phenomenal and super sweet and the store itself was amazing. We will definitely be stopping here next time we are in Wickenburg and we encourage you do to the same!!!

We needed a service to help us after our 93year old mother was downsizing her household items, including furniture as she was moving into a smaller place. I contacted The Pony 2nd Hand Store and Peter and his crew came out the next day. Peter was very caring as I showed him my mom's possessions. It took them 2 days to pack up her items and take them away. I had contacted an auction company prior to calling Peter, and that experience proved very disappointing. I was happy to work with Peter. Moving was a very emotional time for my mom and myself. My mom was equally happy of the time and compassion Peter took with her possessions.

Was having 2 of my dogs fixed in Wickenburg had my 3rd pup with us and was looking for somewhere to hunt for treasures and this place was on the list of places I wanted to stop. We parked in the back, I hopped out carrying my little chiweenie, named Blondie. I noticed a large sign on the door saying no dogs allowed. I thought I will ask if it is ok since I will be carrying her the ENTIRE time. She couldn't do any harm whatsoever. The older lady that was working there told me absolutely not. I had to walk through the small shop to find her saying, "Helllooooo?" There was no one in there shopping. In a small place like Wickenburg, I would think they could use the business, especially in todays economic climate. I read in another review that it is 2600 sq feet. Maybe including the entire strip mall, the thrift store only seemed to encompass maybe 1/3 of that. I wasn't able to take a close look at the prices or the items but my first impression was it looked like yard sale left overs with some maybe hidden treasures. Which isn't generally always a bad thing. Sometimes that is my favorite type of thrift store. But whatever the reason might be that NO DOGS ALLOWED at all policy, I am going to try and give her the benefit of the doubt maybe hoodlums regularly bring their pitbulls around or maybe she is one of those people dogs prefer to bite. Who knows. Most likely she just doesn't like animals. That is my deal breaker. Luckily she put that right up front on the door. Someone that doesn't like dogs is not going to get my business or anything else.Over all looked like it had potential to be a cool thrift shop. Is not pet friendly, is anti animal. Big THUMBS DOWN from meEnclosed is a picture of my "vicious" BlondieJust checked out their website which is clunky and no user friendly, says All are welcome. Should say no dogs allowed.

Great little shop, you never know what you will find. They have fair prices and inventory changes often. You can find a little bit of everything. They repair and sell washers and dryers. Books are a great deal, the best prices on used books at a thrift store in Wickenburg. For a fun little treasure hunt don't miss this thrift shop!

We found a good used stackable washer/dryer set here, at a reasonable price that had hardly been used. Their delivery was free and they allow you to use it for a week to check it out. (Peter checks out all the appliances before selling them.) They took care, in the delivery and they were nice folks to deal with. Thanks for exchanging the electrical cord for us, so that it would be compatible with the outlet in our manufactured home.
