We had a wonderful experience at the Red Garter Inn. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. We stayed in the Parlor room and while there was a loud bar next to us, the bed was comfortable and I slept right through it. Super close to the train, if that's why you are in Williams and the restaurant downstairs was a great place for breakfast. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Stayed in the Best Gal's room and definitely had a paranormal experience. Knocking on the door in the middle of the night and couldn't get the room warm despite heater being on it was cold all night. Other than that the food was great and the hotel is beautiful in itself!

Went here for breakfast and it was delicious. We were driving from Grand Canyon to Phoenix and perfect mid way point to grab a coffee. Extremely friendly staff.

So glad that we opted for Red Garter. The heart of town is only a few blocks long and 2 deep. RG is perfectly placed. You have immediate access below, in the same building, to Grand Canyon Cafe with awesome, affordable, homestlye breakfast served all day.The rear access from the restaurant puts you directly into the other main strip of town. The Grand Canyon Railway and Zipline Park is directly across the street. The innkeeper will reach out via email a few days before arrival and then again via text the day of arrival with self check in details. Our room 4/Madam was sooo quiet and comfortable. We had an awesome night's rest?? We will stay here again on our annual cross country trek from Ohio to California!Rooms: All 4 are unique/Room 4 is Madam

I'm quite torn on this review. The inn itself was really nice and very historic. The only issue I really have with this place is that right behind it was a bar that was blasting music so loud and so late into the night that I could not sleep. I probably had the worst sleep in a hotel there.Noteworthy details: Don't expect to get a good night's sleep here. The bar right behind it is extremely loud and even if all the windows and doors closed, the music just blasts into the rooms.

Historic building that was a brothel! Reported to be haunted by a former call girl (Newsweek), there are 4 rooms done in period decor, a hospitality room, and an honor system souvenir shop and sitting area. Next door is a bakery/breakfast restaurant with delicious, hearty breakfast. With only 4 rooms you should book in advance. In the tiny town of Williams, AZ, which is on famous Route 66 so you'll find plenty of fun shops, bars, and restaurants. Within walking distance to the train station for the Grand Canyon Railway.

We were referred to Red Garter by family friends for our visit to the Grand Canyon. This is the cutest, most unique place we have ever stayed. We stayed in the "Parlor" room! It was very clean and well organized. There were other guests there but we never heard a sound. The inn is located directly across from the railway and just around the corner from food and shopping!! Also there is access to a private patio with intimate seating. We were able to leave our window open the entire stay(2 days). This is a definite must-stay!!!Rooms: There are 4 rooms total. Each one is unique in its own way. And each has its own private bathroom.Nearby activities: There is a cool Zipline right on Main Street. Anything that you could need is within walking distance. Great food, souvenir shops. Dollar General and Family Dollar are close by as well.Safety: The main entrance to the Red Garter is locked at all times as well as the private patio as to ensure no wanderers or looky-loos.Walkability: Everything you need is within walking distance.Food & drinks: We ate at the Route 66 Bistro and had the most delicious wood- fired pizza!!Noteworthy details: The Red Garter is located on the historic Route 66. So very cool!!
