Desert Mirage Alpaca Ranch is a family-run ranch near Wittmann, Arizona, specializing in raising Huacaya alpacas. Visitors can take a tour to see all of the beautiful and surprisingly soft alpacas, learning about the entire process of breeding and raising them. The owners are amazingly friendly, warm, sweet, and knowledgeable people who absolutely love their animals. The tour is very comprehensive, with plenty of opportunities to snuggle and love on the alpacas, which is great for kids and anyone who loves animals. The tour is free and easy to book. The ranch has a very cute gift shop filled with wonderful items, many homemade, including products made with alpaca wool. Supporting their work by buying something is highly recommended. It is an absolutely incredible, amazing, and fabulous experience for families and alpaca lovers.
Great place to meet lovely alpacas! Very nice owners were happy to introduce their calm, sweet, beautiful flock & educate us about these shy & polite creatures. Recommend highly to bring youngsters!

We visited the ranch this morning and everything about it was amazing. The owners were the sweetest people & so knowledgeable about their alpacas, too! My family and I had a great time and learned so much as well. I highly recommend visiting this place. Thank you so much for today!
