Wow. We were going to inquire about staying here and wanted to check out the place beforehand. Some jerkoff in a cart with kids speeds up to me and was extremely rude and asked us what we were doing and told us to get the heck out of here. This was our first time ever there and last time. I'll be sure to tell all my buddies to stay away. I even seen the Robin Sewell Az highways vid on this and was excited too see but not anymore. Extremely rude

My family and I spent 3 nights here and had a wonderful time. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and every one was a great host. The food was freshly prepared and fantastic, some of the best home style cooking we've had. We looked forward to every meal! The lodge accommodated all the visitors and had a warm atmosphere - great for hanging out around meals and into the evening. The outdoor activities were amazing - great fishing, beautiful outdoors, and the horseback riding was fantastic. We are from Phoenix and loved the chance to get away from the heat with just a 3 hour drive. Highly recommended! Thanks to everyone at the Cherry Creek Lodge for a wonderful vacation!

I am a city slicker so I didn't know what to expect. It was definitely worth the drive. The people that work here treated us like family. They cook great meals in the lodge for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are lots of activities that they host as well. I enjoyed the shooting range, UTV ride, and paddle boarding. This place is great for couples or families. Thanks for the great stay.

This place needs improving. We went for a wedding and spent a lot of money to get and stay there. We were never informed that we needed a high profile vehicle to travel many miles of washboard dirt road and worse that we’d have to make numerous river crossings in our rental car. It was harrowing after an already 3.5 hour drive from the nearest airport. We bottomed out at every crossing, fearing damage to our vehicle. Luckily we didn’t have to get dragged out of the mud like other guests did. Our car was a mess. There was not a warm welcome or cool drink offered and the cowboys (staff?) hanging around were unfriendly and refused help to the food delivery van who was stuck. They hung around looking perturbed as though we were invading their scene. There was no concern shown for the difficult journey nor interest shown in making guests feel welcome. A small amount of warm ice tea and a jar of blue liquid were all that sat in the bar for our “cocktail hour”. We were told we couldn’t play darts because there were children and alcohol around. There was no alcohol and the only kids were the ranch staff’s kids! Our private patio had their families hanging out on them! Food and lodging was mediocre. On the morning after the wedding we were awakened to the sound of vacuuming and the main lodge area being mopped up with the smell of cleaning chemicals before our breakfast was even served as if we were being pushed out. The lack of courtesy and care added insult to the injury of making our way there through truly frightening and dangerous conditions. Not a pleasant experience.

My gf and I got to go around January and let me tell you I would 100% go back everyone was extremely nice and the Reece the main cowboy who should us around was the coolest person every. He even went out of his way to help me get my foot in the door for learning the ranch work. We went on 2 different trails for horseback riding and the second trail was absolutely beautiful. I would 100% go back again

We recently had the pleasure of visiting an incredible ranch, and I must say, it was an experience beyond my wildest expectations. From the moment we arrived until the day of departure, every aspect of our stay was carefully planned out to ensure a truly memorable and enjoyable time. We chose Cherry Creek for our wedding and so glad we did. The rustic yet elegant decor added to the authentic ranch experience, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. The cabin was impeccably clean, cozy, and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The range of activities available are perfect. From horseback riding to hiking, fishing, offroad rides, shooting or just sitting on the porch taking in the peace and quiet, there was something for everyone. The ranch hands were knowledgeable and experienced, making the horseback riding sessions safe and enjoyable for riders of all skill levels. I cant say enough about ALL the staff. All at the ranch went above and beyond to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of their guests. From the moment everyone arrived, they were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine enthusiasm for creating a memorable experience. All the staff were friendly and approachable and in a matter of minutes we all felt like family. Their passion for the ranch and dedication to providing exceptional service truly shone through. All the meals were delicious and was just like mom was in the kitchen cooking. They made sure everyone was well fed. The scenery and surroundings kept us looking in aww. From watching the young colts playing in the corrals to deer and elk passing through, there was always something to watch. Visiting this amazing ranch was an experience we will all treasure for a lifetime. The combination of the amazing accommodations, a wide range of exciting activities, friendly and attentive staff, home cooked meals, and stunning natural beauty created an unforgettable getaway. Whether you're an avid horseback rider, nature enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique and relaxing vacation, this ranch is an absolute gem. I could go on and on but to sum it up we wholeheartedly recommend this amazing ranch to anyone seeking an authentic and remarkable ranch experience. Be prepared to be captivated by the beauty of the surroundings, ton of fun activities for all, and pampered by the exceptional hospitality. Fun and friendly staff that feels like family. Trust me; you won't be disappointed. We will be back.

We had an amazing "dude ranch" experience with our family here. My youngest, age 9, loved playing with all the animals (dogs, cats, goats, chickens) roaming around. We had fun riding and learning about horses, paddling around the pond, shooting guns, four-wheeling, exploring, playing games, and enjoying the beautiful scenery and weather. All of the home-cooked meals were fresh, amazing, and very filling. The people were kind, helpful, patient, and fun. There are a lot of horses and cows, so there is poop everywhere, but that's to be expected on a real ranch. The wi-fi at the lodge works, but there is no reception away from the lodge--which was awesome for our family. All in all, great experience and fond family memories! I have already recommended it to others.

Homely, welcoming with hugely attentive service, Carol and the team run a suitably relaxed but meaningful ranch experience. It’s a working ranch, not a pristine hotel, and all the better for it. Food was excellent. Horse back riding was phenomenal, even for novices.

Best Experience Ever. I have traveled all around the states and the world. Enjoyed bungalows at Bora Bora, safaris in Africa, horseback riding in Montana to name a few but my experience at Cherry Creek Lodge is by far my favorite! From fixing fence with Reese, chasing cows with Chris, hunting for lions with Kenny and 3 amazing meals a day / hospitality from Carol, Emma and Summer it was an excellent visit. They provided each meal with fantastic gluten & dairy free options, snacks and coffee for the trail, great cocktails at night and desserts. Not only did this ranch have have great accommodations, well trained horses, and beautiful views, but the staff made the whole thing just epic. You could probably go to a lot of great dude ranches in American but I doubt you will have as much fun as I did with Reese, Kenny, little Kenny, Chris, Carol, Emma and Summer!

The reviews on Cherry Creek Lodge do not lie. This is truly a five-star experience. The entire staff is warm, friendly, and go the extra mile to make your experience magical. Every animal on the ranch is friendly and loving, from the cat and dogs to the horses. All the food is prepared daily; snack trays like charcuterie boards, baked goods, and fresh fruits are at your pleasure, and the meals are exquisite.I have never had hospitality like this unless I paid out a life savings for a high-nose corporation. But here at the Cherry Creek Lodge you stay with real, down to earth people who make you feel like part of the family. I will be highly recommending this experience to anyone looking for a break from the city life, and will absolutely be returning frequently throughout my future.Thank you Carol, and all of the Cherry Creek Lodge staff for giving us a much needed experience.

Cherry Creek lodge feels more like a cozy bed & breakfast. It boasts 5 bedrooms that sleep 16 people. The adjacent bunkhouse can accommodate even more guests, or if you just want some privacy. The staff is awesome & the minute you walk in the door, their home becomes your home.Their busiest season is April through November, but any time of the year is beautiful here. If you come in the winter pack some warm clothes. You might even see some snow January or February. The great room is beautifully decorated in southwest cowboy decor with rustic pine floors and beamed ceilings. We came last summer here with our large (church) youth group of 50 teenagers. It was highly requested by the kids again, so this week we returned for our second time! The kids mostly camped in tents out front by the lake and the leaders slept very comfortably in the room accommodations. The staff let us cook our food in the large gourmet kitchen and there was plenty of room to eat either inside or out on the large wrap around deck. Our teenagers (14-19) had a blast with activities like swimming in the lake, riding horses, collecting eggs, fishing, learning how to roundup, rope a cow & saddle up." Highly recommended for anyone holding a church camp or family reunion.
