The phone did not work. When I took a shower, the bath spigot flew off the wall and hit me in the leg. Management apologetically offered to fix the problem shower problem the next day of my stay. There was no offer to give me a different room.

Killed six roaches, one was a "wake up call" with me in the bed that morning. That in itself makes it an unforgiving experience.I did not want to leave this review as I liked the property, the lobby area, and ladies at the front desk. I gave corporate a chance to respond to me, but I am yet to hear anything after turning in the survey they sent and sending a corporate email a few days ago. I didn't ask for "a free ___" and I'm a BW Rewards member, but I guess that wasn't worthy of a response either. Therefore, time to express my experience where it actually counts most, their consumers.

I'm a Best Western rewards member and needed a room after driving nonstop from Salem, OR to Yuma, AZ down I-5 through LA county - in 18 straight hours with a PomChi. I had hoped to use my points but hotels use surge pricing and I did not have enough points. I drove by the property prior to checking in and thought, "oh my, I think I wasted money." What's the old saying, do not judge a book by its cover? It's true for this location. I initially chose a king room but needed a first level due to bad knees and the pooch. When I arrived, I was exhausted from trying to exit the OR & northern CA passes prior the late February series of killer snow storms. The gal at the front desk was very helpful and I told her I'd take any room she had on the first floor. It was still morning when I arrived and I was towing an RV as well and needed space to park safely. But the staff let me check in hours early so I could wind down from my drive and feet that felt like they were vibrating. She was very helpful and got me situated quickly. It was not a king room but a family style 2 double bed room. It was super easy to access near my RV & truck, and it had plenty of coffee for a pick-me-up. That's unique to find a well stocked room, stateside. After my initial impression I was genuinely surprised to find a well cleaned room with no pube hairs in the sheets, sink, or tub! There were more pillows than I needed which is not often the case with hotel chains. The AC was wall controlled and easy to use. Though next to the interstate it was relatively quiet but to be fair (#LetterKenny) I do sleep with ear plugs. My PomChi, however, is hypersensitive to sound and she was not bothered or scared. That's a plus! The bed was comfortable, there was HBO available on the television, and MSNBC! I was totally surprised to find MSNBC as most hotels are too corporate to share any news except the falsehoods and conspiracy theories shared via FOX outlets. Thank you, BW Yuma! Yet another star for having a more broad lens from which to view this world via media outlets. I could not get the tv to aircast though as it must be on a specific scannable WiFi, not my portable WiFi. And I could find no access to HDMI's for my AppleTV box on the remote under "sources." The access available was USB only. Which, accessing the ports would be difficult. I am not used to hotel keys that demag while in the sleeve when next to a cell phone. Naturally I blew out both keys. When I went to the front desk there was another staff, male, and he too was excellent and understanding. I was more embarrassed I blew the mag on the keys and he assured me "it happens." I felt seen, safe, and comfortable. That's a plus. I'm thinking this area is in "high season" so prices are higher than other Best Westerns in the PNW and more reward points are needed to get a room during high season. There was also a car and tattoo show in town which may have boosted prices some. Overall, the prices are fair for high season and capacity due to the shows in town. I need to stay that I own a stake in a 5-Diamond resort, complete with personal grocery shopper, personal butler, open bar fridge, and plunge pool/hot tub on the deck. It says a lot about this location that I would return or send friends here. Thank you staff for making the stay comfortable and for your hospitality. You served this Corporate Citizen brand over and above expectations. Worth a mention: the cleaning staff was helpful. It's a big property and finding the front desk was a haul up a hill or stairs. The male staff assigned to the building I stayed in was patient with me and courteous. Another staff, Louis, provided me some guidance on things to do in town. Again, over and above expectations!

This stay came with two free drinks at the bar and a free night if you booked two nights. The pool and Jacuzzi was great and there was free breakfast in the morning. Eggs, sausage, hash browns, toast, cereal. Oj, milk, yogurt. The room was just okay but the amenities make it worth the stay. I definitely recommend this place. It's also right next to the mall and a target.

Rooms are a bit dated but we're clean. Place has a good breakfast that is included in your room price. As well there is a happy hour, you are given drink tickets at your check in.

We visit family nearby to this location. We have stayed 1/2 dozen times since it was remodeled a few years back. Can you say lipstick on a pig? I can! 1 visit, no hot water, another visit an AC unit that sounded like an engine starting up, and the most recent visit we were woken up twice in the middle of the night by staff "looking for noises". We were sound a sleep, not hearing any noise at all from inside the room, yet they were convinced it was coming from our room! Twice! In the middle of the night! Wrong on every level! We will NOT be back! And, to be worse, when I asked to be compensated for not being able to take a shower due to lack of hot water, I was told to call the desk on Monday. There is NO service at this location on staff, and Best Western should look into pulling their franchise.

Good hotel with a small bar nightly. On certain days you can get a couple of free drinks with your room. The bartender is very generous. Ordered a rum and Coke and was given a rum on the rocks with a slight Coke colored tent. The rooms are nice and the location is large and pretty. My only complaint is the limitations on the rooms ac. I know im crazy but i sleep with the ac at 64. Some hotels wont let it drop below 67, which i can live with. The ac here is limited to 70. This left tue room feeling stuffy.

The design of the whole hotel is very confusing finding your room number is a challenge.... not only that, but as soon as you walk into the room, the air conditioning, smell of wet socks, and stagnant water. The furniture's smell and have stains. Also worst part of it all is that this hotel does not have hot water showers so if you're uncomfortable with taking cold showers, I would suggest finding somewhere else.

Worst stay ever. I stayed here before and wasOk but this time the rooms were unacceptable. I saw roaches every night on my stay. I told front desk, they said they were going to deep clean the room and spray it for the roaches. I came back and the room had a very strong smell because of the roaches poison and they didn’t even let the fan on. After the spray, I kept seeing roaches in the room and a dead roach in the shower. The room wasn’t even deep cleaned, there was trash next to the trash and paper in the floor, used towels were never picked up from the room. Also, towels were very very small. I’m very disappointed with my stay and I don’t recommend anyone to come here.

The rooms were quite pleasant and exceptionally clean. The pool was a nice touch, too. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful. Breakfast is served every morning. The location was fantastic, just a short drive from shopping centers, restaurants, and other attractions. What really impressed me was the smart TV with Google Assistant, and the nightstand had a handy outlet with USB and type-C charging ports, in addition to the standard ones. With a microwave and mini fridge in the room, they really had all the essentials covered.

What a pleasant experience. This location did a wonderful job recognizing me as a rewards member. Beside that, the grounds are nice and the breakfast area can't be beat. All around, the grounds and buildings are well kept. Let's not forget the great room rates. The value is above average. Beds are comfortable for a good night's sleep.

We stayed here for a dental visit to Algodones. We were happily surprised by the BW Hotel, the staff, the amenities, the value and the location all exceeded our expectations!! It was such a pleasant stay and definitely felt like more of a vacation than a dental visit. Each staff member was professional, friendly, helpful and genuinely welcoming. We felt safe at the location and it was clean and conveniently located to many good restaurant options, a movie theater, a mini outlet center, among other amenities that you might need. Angry Crab next door OMG!! SO GOOD! Also, we had a rental car that we parked there. There is ample, well lit parking that felt and was safe at night. I also noticed an employee routinely making rounds throughout our stay checking on things and made light chit chat, much appreciated! : )We upgraded to a spa jet tub king room which was very spacious and well appointed. Not to mention a great value! It featured a separate living room with couch and TV, a kitchen with fridge/cooktop/microwave/sink, etc. It offered a separate bath tub/shower/toilet room. The spacious bedroom had a closet, TV, dresser, nice clean jet tub, and free standing sink. The bed and linen was comfortable. I would have appreciated newer towels, but that's no big deal, I'm picky, and it was a budget hotel. Ample lighting throughout the room and it was clean and comfortable for our multiple day stay. It was nice to have the extra TV and extra space while my husband was recovering from his dental work. The pool is SO refreshing, clean and most of the time I had it to myself! I didn't try to hot tub, since it was so warm outside, but looked clean and inviting. There are self serve paid laundry services onsite, which came in handy for our stay. The lobby has a small, but nice array of any small snack or cold beverage, candy or detergent you may need. But BY FAR the STAR of the show and highlight of our visit was the complimentary breakfast each morning!!!! These ladies are the brightest, warmest, most welcoming, happy, and delightful employees this hotel or any for that matter has to offer! We were offered a vast array of hot/cold/to go options, which all were all super fresh, well stocked, easy to access, VERY CLEAN, delicious, nutritious and had wonderful soft options for my husband that had extensive dental work done. They were so kind and sweet, be sure to leave them a generous tip if you feel inclined as we did, they go above and beyond and it really shows! : )We plan to stay here again in a few months for our follow up visit and are looking forward to it!Thanks for having us!Jared & CindyRooms: Great value! Clean, comfortable, spacious.Nearby activities: Los Algodones for dental or optical work! Quechan Casino nearby! Movie theater in same complex as hotel.Safety: Felt safe at the general and overall location. Parking lot felt safe, and it felt safe out at night.Walkability: Angry Crab was DELICIOUS and is right next door, easy to walk to. We drove to Lin's(?) Chinese Buffet, which was nearby and easy to get to, great value, fresh, delicious! You can walk to many other places as well: cold stone creamery, gas station convenience store, outlets, movie theater, olive garden, many other restaurants nearby there as well.Food & drinks: Angry Crab was DELICIOUS and is right next door, easy to walk to. Try it all!! Trust me, just splurge, you won't be sad. We LOVED it all! And we are avid coastal seafood folks, but trust me, this was out of the park! We absolutely enjoyed it all!We drove to Lin's(?) Chinese Buffet, which was nearby and easy to get to, great value, fresh, delicious!! Went on a Sunday and it was about $16 and was all super hot, fresh and delicious!! Great value and good food. I chose to use hand sanitizer between trips, as I didn't see any out readily available and it was a full house, just be safe.Noteworthy details: Breakfast staff!! : D AMAZING ladies doing a GREAT job with BIG warm SMILES! : ) Much appreciated!!

Excellent service by Alexia and her staff. Alexia went above and beyond for us. Also, th3 breakfast is the best I had at any hotel. They have so much to choose from and the workers are super nice and helpful. I will be back here very soon.
