I went to this nail salon recently and I was not satisfied at all. The nail tips can be seen through the acrylic, nail shaping was not to my description, and I wasn't given a choice in regard to being given pink acrylic powder versus a natural color. Had I'd been given the choice, I would have chosen natural to match the color of polish I chose, but because she used pink, I had to change to white french tip color so they would match. The nail polish wasn't evenly distributed all the way to the edges. When it comes to the pedicure, the nail tech, "CeCe", didn't fully scrub my feet even after being told to pay extra attention to certain rough areas that I have, and she was very rough while handling my feet to the point that she cut me. I have never been to a salon and had a pedicure where they use a scrub brush (one that would be used to scrub a bathtub) on my legs and feet. It was not at all relaxing or comforting. It actually hurt. All in all, I'm new to the area and this was my first impression of a nail salon in Yuma. I was not satisfied with the service I received, and I hope this review helps someone else from avoid making the mistake that I made by selecting this nail salon. This business doesn't deserve a 4.9 rating more like a 0. I will never give the salon my business ever again.Services: Manicure

What a wonderful human being! Personalized one on one service with a joyful personality. I am an out of town business traveler and this was the best conversation I had in Yuma. My nails are lovely and I feel like a million bucks again. Thank you.Service: Acrylic nails

I am not one who usually sends out reviews, unless they are good, so this is new for me. The owner was SO nice and kind, however, I have never had a worse experience. The salon was not clean. It took over an hour and a half for a fill and a toe polish change. I asked for a certain fill service, and did not receive that. I was asked to go barefoot after toe polish change, and wash hands with a used nail brush. I haven't had an issue with lifting in 12 years, but she started clipping away, and a day after my service, I had breakage and lifting. SO disappointed, as she stated she has 24 years in the business.

Sissy is a sweet lady, but I can't recommend her. She gave me the worst gel manicure I've ever received in my life. Not only did my nails start chipping the very next day (!), but they were completely destroyed. It may be because she didn't remove the previous gel properly (she was very rough), or because she didn't use a proper base coat, just applied the color directly to my nails (when I asked her about it, she said she did apply one, but she definitely didn't). When I had it removed back home in SF, the nail technician asked me where I'd had them done and commented that was the polish was very very thick. It's now been a month and my nails are still completely destroyed. I've never seen them like this before--peeling and breaking off below the quick on every finger. I really don't like leaving bad reviews, especially for a sweet woman like Sissy whom other people seem to love, but this experience was just so bad that I had to let people know. Don't go here for gel. It was also stiflingly hot in the shop with no ventilation. The fumes were so strong that I felt unsafe just being in there.

I have been going to Sissy since Feb 1995!! She is efficient, clean, and talented. She does her own artwork by hand. I have come up with many off the wall ideas and she always is top notch. Highly recommend.

This place is awesome! She only does appointments which makes it so much more efficient, and she genuinely cares about making things perfect. I went to get a pedicure there and it's $25. She does a very perfect job and also puts a exfoliant scrub on your legs, which most other salons charge over 10 dollars just for the scrub. My feet are feeling super smooth, and her hospitality is amazing. Genuinely made me feel like we were old friends catching up. Will definitely be back next month for my next pedicure :) loved her

Super welcoming and caring! Sissy is very honest about the time she spends on each customer and is more than willing to accommodate your needs. It's a very clean place and I will definitely be coming back!

Went in to get a fill. I pointed out one finger was a little sore. The owner of the shop, Sissy?, looked at it and said the nail had lifted a little but no problem, she would fix it. She did my fill & two days later while I was driving back to my home, I'm a snowbird, it started hurting!! It was SO bad, I had to stop a couple hours later & find a nail shop to get the nail removed!! Bad decision Sissy!!

Excellent artistry in a pleasing atmosphere. I have been going toDaisy Nails for 24 years. Would not go anywhere else! Keeps up on latest trends and nail art is top quality. Excellent service in a garden like spa. Makes you feel extremely relaxed and the pedicure is to die for!!

Very clean ! Loved my nails done by Sissy ! My pedicure was on point and very well done, same with my manicure ...she took her time and had very well precision. Will definitely be coming back ! She was also very nice and I liked how she kept conversation going ! Definitely recommend this place !
