About Hertz Car Rental - Yuma - Yuma International Airport (YUM)
Hertz Car Rental at Yuma International Airport receives mixed reviews highlighting both excellent in-person service and occasional communication issues. Multiple customers praise specific staff members for being extremely helpful, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and personable. The process is described as easy, quick, and effective, with cars reported as ready, clean, and in great condition with zero issues. One reviewer notes the team is by far the best to work with.
However, a negative experience involved phone communication, where calls were hung up upon, indicating a need for improved customer service over the phone. There have also been instances where Hertz was sold out, forcing customers to use other rental companies. In an emergency situation where a customer needed a rental after receiving watered-down gas, the staff was noted as very helpful and friendly in getting them set up quickly. Overall, the location is recommended for its efficient and professional in-person service despite some noted shortcomings.
