REFUND DUE IMMEDIATLY... BEWARE! We lost our beautiful baby because of incompetence here. Problem was 100% treatable at time of visit, yet due to lack of ability to piece together our obvious stated concerns of non bowel movement and straining at litterbox, the blocked/compacted colon was not treated, resulting in death. No X-rays suggested, no laxatives' given and no F's given. So we did our best, after visit, with the "Clean health, strong heart, kidneys and liver" diagnosis (yes this was the information we received after our complete explanation of why our pet was brought here for help). One month later, at a reputable clinic... X-rays were IMMEDIATELY done after voicing the EXACT SAME concerns to *Yuma Veterinary Clinic* (Excellent, thoughtful, professional), when the problem became absolutely dire. Diagnosis...COMPACTED COLON.Our baby died Two days later. Foul, Grief struck, gutted.

I am traveling and needed help with one of my dogs, the person whom answered the phone was so patient and kind, they were able to get me in the next day. The vet tech--I believe was Chelsea--she also was so loving to my dogs, patient and understanding with me. we saw Dr Lewcock and he makes me want to move here just so we can have him as our Veterinarian!! Outstanding job to all--Thank you

Great experience with my cats at Ironwood Vet. They were friendly and you can tell they all love animals. My cat was spayed and they gave me great instructions and they Don’t rush you. If you have questions they answer them. You can also go inside unlike the other vet in town. When I took my cats in the first time, I felt welcomed as they bring you in the exam room and let you take your cat out of the carrier and walk around the room. My kitten was scared because they had to take blood, when the vet came in the room she had him swaddled in a blanket to make him feel safe.Needless to say I was impressedJust had our other cat neutered here and the staff is very polite and family friendly. The vet explains everything as well as the vet tech. I will be back for sureI’m not sure why this popped up and wouldn’t let me do a new review. I have recently taken my cat and my puppy to Ironwood, the staff is very friendly and work with you to help your animals stay as calm as possible. My puppy is beyond hyper, she weighs 60 lbs and is 6 months and they calmed her down. The new vet is also very informative and takes his time with you.

My dog had a sore spot on his paw and was limping. I was able to get in to see a vet two days later. The tech and vet were both very friendly and treated my dog with great care. We got some meds and treatment to help him recover. Great place!

My husband called Ironwood this morning to get our cat seen because we suspected she has an infection from her spay surgery. Ironwood refused to see her because her surgery was performed in Mexico by another VETERINARIAN. They even refused to prescribe an antibiotic. I thought Ironwood was better than this. We were looking to get help for our cat, not get entangled with who did what. SHAME ON YOU. Please explain to the community what will happen if we can not find help for her infection. Again, I say SHAME ON YOU. I would not recommend this vet office to anyone.
