If you’re active duty , and need a home , Avoid this place and just get a home off base , its not worth it living on base or 16th St Housing , if you do move on base , expect to pay minimum 1k when you move out for the “damages” , i was charged 140 for missing a small piece of the wood overlay flooring due to water damage , i deep cleaned the entire home and was charged 150$ no matter what , so what was the point of me cleaning it? the carpet you’ll get charged for any damage , entirely just not worth it , lets be honest. maintenance isnt the greatest , they will take their time to repair stuff , one time i had no AC for 3 days in the middle or summer and i had to wait burning up in the heat. , they take all of your BAH as well unlike other installations. With all due respect, Glad to be out of liberty housing and wont return to any liberty housing locations.

Most MONEY HUNGRY PEOPLE.. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT RESIDENTS, THEY SEE MILITARY FAMILIES AS DOLLAR SIGNS. If i could give a 0 star or better yet a negative i would ! My husband and i were stationed here and lived on 16th street for almost 2 years. At first it was okay, though when we got into our apartment the backyard was dirty and gross and there was items left from past residents still in the yard. About a year into living there, our water heater leaked and flooded about almost half of our house. We called maintenance and they put fans in our home, ripped the carpet up and never came back to properly install the carpet again. We had many other issues including mold in our vents (though they tried to deny this, they had us moved out of our apartment for a week for "dust cleaning", and changed our locks and had to wear hazmat suits while cleaning the "dust") We recently just moved out and they attempted to charge us 150$ to remove the prior residents bricks that were left near the fence in the yard. We deep cleaned the house and on our first inspection the lady told us we would at most pay 800$ when moving out because of the living room carpet replacement which we said was fine. She also told us that they have a cleaning lady who comes in and cleans up the home after we move out and to just clean up as best as we could. I deep cleaned the apartment and scrubbed the walls and bathroom and they still charged us 150$ for cleaning fees because the bathtub had a crack and "looked dirty" and because the house was not up to expectation, which is just lies. These people only care about money and are the most MONEY HUNGRY people i have ever met !! anyways our total was not "worst case scenario 800$" as the lady stated, we were charged 1100$. LOL

This past weekend our house didn’t have hot water. The week before new years the hot water wasn’t working, but later on in the day it was fine. Friday dec 30 our hot water stopped working again and never came back on. We had freezing cold water for 5 days!We called and they were closed the 30th until the 2nd and wouldn’t come fix it saying it was not an emergency. Jan 3 they told us we could have access to an empty house to shower in, but we passed because we were not comfortable considering other residents who had this issue would have access to the extra house as well to shower themselves. They told us it would be fixed on Jan 4 but it was not and we decided to ask for the spare house to go shower, which we were told they’re not longer going to open it up for the residents like they did the previous day. We finally got our hot water back this morning, but found it ridiculous it took 5 days for it to be fixed and got told it was not an emergency and it’ll be fixed when they get to it.

As a resident it's never a good feeling having to wait on someone else to reach out to have a problem fixed in your "home". Living here for my first year, I have had issues with roaches when just moving in and even questioned them on roach infestation before moving in and being told there were none. I have had issues with staff telling me it's a waiting game on my A/C being fixed in June summer heat waiting in total 3 days to get fixed. I wouldn't and won't be spending our money on this apartment for another year or even a day after our lease is up. I gave it 2 star based on how they handled important situations as stated and because upper staff did call to apologize, however an apology is not good enough when suffering for 3 days with no A/C and having to stay at a hotel for 2 nights waiting for your new apartment to be sprayed for infestation of roaches.

!!!MARINES\SAILORS AND ALL!!! Please do not utilize Liberty Housing, it may seem easier and they can get you in quickly but you will have much more issues than just using your BAH for a house\apartment out in town. Maintenance personnel will show up to your front door unannounced even after telling them over and over again to call first and or set a time to be there. Also if anything gets damaged in the house you will be paying a hefty amount of money for them to fix it and they will not work with you on the price. Me and my wife almost had to get a lawyer because of what they charged us for. They do not work with military members and do not care for the well being of your family. You have options, do not resort to Liberty. If you need advice on where to live in Yuma go to your chain of command before making the decision to move here I promise you they will tell you the same things I mentioned.

Trying to get anything fixed in your home is a nightmare with liberty. Good luck trying to get contact with them. They never pick up their phone!

Don't waste your bah here it is a very unpleasant experience, maintenence will come if you have a leak and tell you not to use the equipment instead of fixing it, they charge a ridiculous 200 dollar deodorizer fee for pet stains and carpet that is supposed to last 5 years but is replaced after each tenant so expect a hefty move out fee. You are better off using your bah for an actual nice place put in town instead of these 1000 dollar boxes they call homes.

The staff in the Yuma district are unorganized, led with no leadership, nor have any accountability for their actions. I wish I could give a zero star rating to them. I left housing in July of 2020, and moved back out in town. Upon moving out they said that I would owe for the carpet ( no total amount was discussed). The gentlemen who told me said since it's the busy season that it might take 30-90 days to process. I didn't get a single notice till May of 2021. They were about to send my bill to collections and have it reflect on my credit. It is not my fault for Lincoln Military having such bad processes and systems.Go take your money somewhere else out in town and enjoy a proper management company.
