“I believe it is the best thrift store in town. Very good clothing in excellent condition. Name brand. Really good price better than good will or humane society or even the missions thrift store
The others are really too expensive. I can't afford to shop at the others. Only Amberlys thrift store on Ave A and 8th street”
“I am a provider and I sit alot on a hard chair. And have been having issues with tailbone pain. I walked in this afternoon looking for a pillow. And I found one. Just as I was about to pay, $2 for the lady behind the counter. Told me it had to be $10 or more to pay with a card. I didn't have any cash on me. This nice gentleman, that worked there. Took out his wallet and without hesitation paid for my pillow. This small gesture meant alot to me! God bless this man!”
“Wonderful place. The people are genuinely welcoming with open arms. It is separate from the church, and they truly respect all backgrounds and diverse communities. The environment is calm, not overwhelming, and they follow a thoughtful grieving process that really supports healing.
Services are donation based and low cost or free, so cost is never a barrier to getting help. My mom really needed this support, and she said she felt a weight lift from her chest after her session. I absolutely recommend this place.
There are no bells or whistlesjust knowledgeable, genuine support from people who truly understand grief. They offer bilingual English and Spanish services, as well as group counseling for loss of a spouse, loss of a child, and general grief support.”
“The best thrift store in Yuma. Quality items reasonably priced. You don't have to dig through piles of junk to get to the good stuff. Items turn over quickly so if you find something you want you best not wait.”

“I went this evening and there wasn't a lot of people which was nice. I like that the clothes on the racks are not all jammed packed. There is room to look through the closet. I found what I was looking for so that was great. Employee are friendly.”

“A very weird goodwill. Selection, they have, order in the store, they do not. They have just piles and piles of boxes to dig through on one side of the stores. A lot of really interesting stuff in those boxes, but they aren't labelled clearly, so you're opening and pulling items out and then shoving them back in if you find out it's a new walker inside.”
“HSOY thrift store is an amazing place to shop, relax, and to find cool stuff.Antiques, clothes, shoes, house decor, you name it they got a little of everything!!The staff and dedicated volunteers are friendly and work hard organizing items. The store is clean, clutter free, well organized, and the prices are cheap. They have weekly 50% sales on different merchandise. Items are tested to make sure it is in working condition before they put it up for sale. Some of the clothes still have the original price tags!!!!It's nice to know that the money spent at this thrift store goes to our local animals.I'm always stopping by at least once or twice a week to check out there inventory. The Manager Isabel, Christina G. andChristina P. are so friendly and take pride in representing HSOY mission. The store is closed on Sundays & Mondays.Who is ready to shop!!!”
