“4 days ago I hurried home in the rain to unload the haul of groceries from my latest Kroger run. When I got home, it was dark. Not fun to unload groceries in the dark but it had to be done. Anyway, I got home and my loving husband met me in the driveway to help unload groceries. I ran our daughter inside and started putting them away as fast as he could bring them in. In the rush, I never noticed that I never saw the bag of chicken breasts and package of steaks I had purchased…. Flash forward 2 days. In the morning I went to load my daughter back in the car so we could run to daycare and the car started to smell a little strange. It was a mix between mildew and a musty smell I couldn’t quite pick out. I shrugged it aside. I drive a “mom car” and who knows what is under my seats at any given moment. There’s usually fast food bags and sippy cups in the backseat because that’s how I roll. I wish sometimes it wasn’t like that but honestly, my car is usually not super clean so a stray odor or two isn’t the weirdest thing that could happen. Back to the story…. Later that day, I went out to my car and the smell had gotten stronger. Now it distinctly smelled like something rotting. I went through my car and didn’t see anything obvious but I willed myself that I would stop by the car wash on the way home to clean out trash and vacuum, vowing to find the source of the odor. When 5:00 rolled around, I went to get in the car and then it hit me. The smell. The smell that beat all smells. The granddaddy of all smells. Something had died in my car. Then it came back to life, ate a pile of garbage and died again. I could smell it before I even opened the doors. Reluctantly, I opened all doors and the trunk and dug through the assorted jackets and fast food bags until I found it. A 6lb bag of what used to be frozen chicken breasts. It must have fallen out of the Kroger bag and under a spare jacket I kept in the trunk. For 24 hours I drove the Roadkill Express around town until I just couldn’t stand it anymore. I started calling detailers. 3 separate retailers straight declined to serve me because they said that was “beyond their ability”. With one last reach of desperation I dialed Lopez auto detailers. The man who I assume is the owner answered the phone quickly and upon hearing my story, got me in immediately. Within 6 hours, the Roadkill Express was no more. All smells are gone and I’m left with the shiniest, cleanest, best smelling car I’ve ever had. This is cleaner than when I bought it. There’s no trace of any dead animal smell or even a hint of something off. This man is a miracle worker!!! Oh and without being asked, he took out the toddler car seat and cleaned it too!!! He cleaned the wheels, the dash, all the carpets, and the seats. He even scrubbed that inside space when the door is open on the inside by the hinges. He cleaned the engine and the exterior so clean it literally squeaks when you rub it. He cleaned INSIDE the gas door thing covering the gas cap. I cannot say enough about this. I feel like I’m driving someone else’s car. All this was done within 6 hours and on the same day I called. Priceless. I will definitely be back and will recommend EVERYONE to go by Lopez Auto Detail. Amazing service. We WILL be back, but hopefully next time, for just a normal detail and not the dead-body-smell removal service.”

“Customer friendly, fast, and affordable. They will top your tires off, do air filters, and check all your other fluids. If your car uses/leaks oil, no problem. Just swing by and they'll top it off free of charge. Free outside car-wash with every oil change and their subscription car-wash plans are very fair. The only question is whether you will bring your vehicle there enough to justify the expense. Splash is a no-brainer in my opinion. Scotty, Jose, Jeremiah, and John got me hooked up the last time I was there. They as well as all other Splash employees I've met are kind, caring, and eager to help in any way they can. I can't sing this places praises enough. Seriously. I feel like I'm robbing them every time I leave. Thanks guys for the great service you provide.”
“When I first began this service, there were times when their scanner could not read the barcode on my windshield, but that has not been the issue lately as many times an attendant is available to make certain you enter the car wash properly.My only strong suggestion (and this is done some of the time), would be for their associates to use the hand power washer on the back of the car. Many times after going through the wash, the dirt remains on the back glass and tailgate/bumper area. Other than that I have three cars contracted with this service and remain a satisfied customer.”

“It's touch-less car wash. Perfect for luxury cars. Other car washes use foam-based brushes which destroys your clear coat. This sprays high-pressure water to clean off debris and dirt off the car. It also has an air dryer as well, not the best, but it works!”
“I usually have trouble entering the Zips Car Wash on Rodney Parham so they gave me a new sticker. I went for the first time in a while today and a representative by the name of Jevonte was standing there ready to help if I needed it. Usually I have to wait until someone comes out to help. Well, Jevonte greeted me with a smile and a great and happy attitude and I was able to enter the car wash right away! How refreshing! I wish everyone was as happy and professional as him while on the job.”
“For four dollar I got an 8 minute wash with a wand. Plenty of soap, did a fine job of cleaning a really grimey truck. And the cleat coat spray finish made the water bead up and roll off like it had been waxed! It's not a ride through but did a fantastic job!”

“Visit for a DIY brushless car wash. Last visit price was $2 for ~ 5 minutes. Unless you are super fast @ washing/rinsing car you will probably need 2 cycles to complete a car wash. Site takes quarters; has a coin-change machine & separate vacuum on premises”

Also to clarify some confusion people have- when paying with a credit card it is clearly posted that you need to tap and hold the button near the credit card reader when done. It will then bill the total from that time spent.”
