I can't remember the last time I left a negative review but this experience warranted it. I understand that there will be maintenance required in any business, however when you are a travel convenience store selling gas right off the exit of a busy Highway, and you misrepresent the gas price, and then close your bathroom during the busiest time of the day to paint them... and then yell, yes yell, at customers that the bathroom is out of order, this is not a good experience for your customers or for anyone who would consider working there. This situation could easily be handled by posting a sign at the entrance of the parking and gas pumps that your bathrooms are closed for maintenance in which case, people can choose one of the other 3 gas stations available at this exit. The rude lady working behind the counter certainly didn't help the situation by yelling at the customers. The other thing to consider is when you are in a service-based business, you want to do maintenance during off hours. Overall, this is very poorly managed facility by whomever is in charge. We then went to the Exxon station after getting gas at the poorly managed Shell station and the sign above the checkout at Exxon was one of gratitude for choosing them and their continued commitment to providing high level service. The young man behind the counter at Exxon was so friendly and polite. What a contrast. I wish we would have gone there first.

Long time customer at this location and a gold card rewards member. Recently they have started scanning driver's license when you purchase beer. Allowed them to do that my previous visit a couple of weeks ago. Today they asked to see my driver's license at check out and I opened my wallet so they could verify my age. The lady at check out said she had to scan it. I told her they already had scanned my ID on my previous visit. I did not let her scan it and she insisted they must. I left the products on the counter and told her I was going to the store across the street. At the other store no issue and no request for a driver's license. I am 68 years old for the record. Not planning on going back to this location.

$30 in gas. $0 purchased because they require $5 to use a card. Years of stopping here for gas every couple of months will come to an end because of this requirement. I hope they saved enough on that transaction to make up for gas sales they will now lose.
