Christmas time and I'm shopping for prime rib roast. I Google the Kroger on Alcoa in Benton and the search for prime rib roast. Nice big add showing $5.97 a lb. Great ! Go straight there and shop. No. The meat dept. Tells me it's on sale for $9.99 per lb only if you have the digital coupon. Take 2 up to the customer service desk and show the young lady the website. She tells me it's for a store in Dallas. I hand her my phone and she agrees that I had only searched for the Kroger in bryant and benton. But that the add was for one in Dallas. I ask to speak to a manager and a young man comes and I show him and explain. He excuses himself to go find an upper manager. Leaves me standing there for over 15 minutes. He never came back. I finally ask the young lady again what happened to the manager and she says he called her and said district wouldn't honor the price. No manager ever came back to tell me and I guess I would still be standing there if I had not asked the girl again. Not so much her fault as the managers didn't even have the decency to deal with me in person. Mind you I never once raised my voice or used obscenity with anyone. Spend literally 1000's of dollars in their store on a yearly basis but I assume they would rather we shop at Wal Mart.Very poor customer service. Merry Christmas to them.

Love my local Kroger. There are some days where the stock is low, but the place is clean and the employees are friendly.
