Horrible experience!!!! If ASHLEY is your groomer..... RUN! I frequently visit Petco for most of my pets needs. There was a pre-scheduled appt for grooming services and Ashley was selected to assist us. Any request that I made, was met with negative and condescending remarks. Keep in mind these were very simple, basic request. The manager whom the matter was escalated to was not much better. After speaking with the both of them for over 20 minutes about what couldn't be done, I decided that this may not be the best option.
After leaving, I called Pet-Smart who offered friendly, prompt service and was able to schedule me immediately, even though it was a holiday. Petco will no longer receive my business for veterinarian, grooming, nor accessories.
Petco should hire people that want to help, because ASHLEY DID NOT!

They always have good dog treat and food selections. The staff is very nice and helpful. We are very grateful for their dedication to helping rescues like our dog rescue. We couldn't make it without partners like Petco. Your donations at the register actually go to support local rescuers like ours.
3/22/24 update- These guys are the best. Vetco inside Petco is our primary vet. They go above and beyond to help us get our many dogs appointments for injuries and illnesses. Their vets are extremely knowledgeable and personable. They take the time to answer all my questions. I never feel rushed. This is the best vet's office I've probably ever used. I drive an hour each way to get from Sheridan to this Benton Vetco location. Super happy to call them all friends. Highly recommended!!! Yesterday they helped me by coming outside when I pulled up to help me unload 2 dogs that were trying to fight on the drive to the clinic. I so appreciate them! -Valentine K9 Rescue, Sheridan, AR

Just went in to grab a toy for my dog. Seen a cute cat collar and had to have it for my kitten. The prices are getting better. I was happy with my experience there. However, I don’t recommend the wrangler horse chew toy if your dog is an aggressive chewer. My 4month old pup destroyed it in a day.

Never use this Vet for petcare. They grossly overcharge for services and the vets are condescending when you question them on it. Use any other vet service but this one.

Every thing was great until I got home and the clerk left my training collar out of my bag and then when I called up there to tell them to just put it up and I will come get it this week. The person that answered the phone had no clue what I was talking about and could not find it and it was the last one So the whole point of me going up there was to get this collar and now this. Also they had almost no collars, and actually i was looking for the ones with the metal buckle and there were zero. Selection on everything was was very disappointing. The employees were all very nice and helpful.

So far I love the PetCo in Benton, AR. The vets there are very knowledgeable about what going on with your pet and try to help you the best way the can if a problem arise. They are very fast on informing you if something changes like apps and diagnosis with your pet. I will continue to see them as long as I have my pup. Thank you guys for caring as much as I do about my fur baby.
