Worst Bank I've ever dealt with. If you even go overdrawn by a nickel they will charge you a $35 overdraft fee ( that's more than twice most banks). You get zero notifications or alerts via email or in app that your account has gone overdrawn. They do this so they can charge their absurd fees. Wish I had never opened account with these crooks.

Once a very updated and helpful bank. Unfortunately now impossible to do anything on a weekend unless you go to one branch. And when you do they are obviously inconvenienced by your presence. Looks like it's time to switch back to the small town banks that still care. It was nice having an app to use but not worth the drive for this kind of treatment.

My handicap mother does not have a bank nor a car. I pick her up a couple times a month to get somethings done. One of those things is to exchange a ten dollar bill for a roll of quarters. This is so she can wash her clothes. We usually do that at Walmart. Today we decided to go across the street from her old folks community to your bank. She does not have a bank account. Banks never have a problem exchanging money for a roll of quarters, even if they don’t have an account. We went through the drive thru window, nobody behind us, no customer in the parking lot etc. not busy at all. I held out a ten dollar bill and asked if we could please exchange the ten dollar bill for a roll of quarters. The girl at the window said “do you have an account?”. I said no we don’t. She said “I’m sorry, I can’t help you if you don’t have an account”. I said, it’s just an exchange for a roll of quarters. Then my mother, sitting next to me reached her head around to ask the girl if she would please considering it because she needs to wash her clothes today. The girl at the windows again said “no, I’m sorry”. We said thank you and drove to the bank down the street. We walk in that bank, my mom is struggling to walk a bit. A person working at that bank met my mom halfway and asked if she would like to sit down. And offered her a water. My mother said “I don’t have an account here but is it possible if we could exchange a ten dollar bill for a roll of quarters?” and they said “for sure”! They then said anytime you need more, please come through the drive thru windows so you don’t have to walk. They treated her so good that I made the decision to take $40,000 of my own money and put it in that bank today. That’s how I want to be treated. My mother is disabled and has some mental illness. We need to treat people better. It doesn’t take a lot to do that.

I have been banking with OZK for 6 years now. I have never had any major issues until today, they have always been courteous and had good customer service. I have never bounced a check or had my account go negative. I have been a good customer. I now live 2 and 1/2 hours from the closest location and today I tried to mobile deposit a check that was above my mobile deposit limit. I have never had fraud on my account, the obvious thing to do was make a one time exception. Instead they chose to tell me I could mail them the check(not comfortable with this) or drive it all the way over. Well Bank OZK just lost a fan that has always spoke highly about them and I’m seriously considering moving my business to another bank.

DO NOT BANK AT BANK OZK!!!! If you make an ATM deposit that is from your employer (on a Friday) and it might appear too much (to the freakin bank ATM department), it gets a fraud flag on it. They only pull the checks and money out of their ATM machines on Wednesdays so that's when they can take the physical check out of the machine and analyze it to make sure it's legit! Worthless piece of s bank! I'll be switching to a different bank ASAP!! Save yourself the headache and nightmare (when you see a pending debit of the amount of your deposit sitting there all weekend and they have no live person to talk to outside of their branch operating hours). Ohhhhh.....and the ATM banking people "emailed" my branch at 5:24pm on Friday to alert them so they could handle it, the teller tells him they closed at 5:00 that day. The branch hours are posted until 6:00.

Could never get the app work good. Everytime it would say my info was wrong password username I even set up finger print and nope still kept kicking me out called customer service number and nobody fixed it. The card app they have we could never get it to work also changing banks

Called the bank to get an estimate of loan cost and preapproval. Bank employee informed me they don’t do loan approvals??? Let me guess, for our own protection and part-of COVID protocol? One of these days all the craziness will unwind. Customer service willMean something again. Until then, you get what you get and don’t throw a fit. Thanks bank of Ozark forSubstandard customer service.

I beleive it was Christine, who politely answered the phone. When i asked why my cash night deposit haven't been posted yet at 10am following day, her response was we will get to it when its convienant for us... really!?!
