I desperately wanted all the bad reviews to be invalid, but they’re legitimate. The owner lied and ran a hard inquiry when they told me they would do a soft credit inquiry. I am really disappointed because I liked his inventory and thought he was honest.After an older lady totaled my car and I was out of work due to medical issues, my score dropped significantly for the first time ever. This company perpetuated the problem.

Great staff. Works best by appointment. Great cars in good condition and the best warrantys I've gotten. I was able to work with a great credit union as well. Management is very helpful.

Wow, what a great experience I had purchasing my 2017 Kia. Ben Sluyter is honest, up front and a great salesman that is honest, which is hard to find in the world of car shopping. Helped me find an amazing rate, price, a car that fitted my needs. I would highly recommend him and Performace Cars & Trucks to anyone. Awesome company that has been local for right about 30yrs!!!

10/05/2023short version: The car's actual mileage was ~6K higher than what was advertised but the price was fair. I did get $400 off and no paper work fee for being retired military as well. Time will tell about quality, but when buying a used vehicle that is just as much or more the customer's responsibility to inspect and ensure for. No issues with any of this at all. My issue is with the complete unprofessional conduct & complete lack of customer care/service AFTER the sale. You can find a lot of quality used vehicles in the NWA area, go spend your hard earned money where they actually appreciate you even after they take your money. From my only interaction with Performance Cars & Trucks in Bentonville, Ar do not expect to be helped or even treated with common manners AFTER the sale. Once they have your money they do not care about the customer.Long version : This review is directed at the lack of professionalism, customer service and disrespectful actions by "Charles". This review does not reflect the entire staff. When I asked for Charles last name I was told no by Aaron(sp?). Whomever the young man was that conducted the test drive and allowed us to look at the car, thank you. That young man is very honest, respectful , and helpful. Aaron, we disagree on who was supposed to contact whom once my check cleared but that is only your smoke screen to hide Charles actions. At the point of sale your office (the business) stated they would contact me or my niece (the customer) upon my check clearing in order for us to pick up the automobile that we just paid for in full. I asked if it would be easier if I did an Electronic Transfer from my bank account to the dealerships. I was told no cause that person isn't there right now and it should only take ~3 business days. During that time the vehicle would have to stay at the lot until the check clears . None of this is the issue. Charles IS the issue. Day 3 I called to follow up, and you said the person who checks on that is not here right now, let me check and call you back. You never called. You did suggest I call my bank and then call you back & inform you about your dealerships financial statements. that's not MY job as the customer. My issue is on day 4. I called the dealership at the request of my niece to ensure the check had cleared. I was not part of her conversation with the dealership prior to my phone call. My niece stated the dealership told her I needed to call my bank to help it clear faster and then call the dealership. Upon confirmation from my bank that the check had cleared the day before. I (the customer) then contacted the dealership (the business) to inform them. Upon calling to tell them it had cleared Charles answered the phone. Upon telling Charles it had cleared I then asked why didn't you call me to tell me it cleared, why did I have to call you? To which "Charles responded "if your not smart enough to figure that out I can't help you". Yes at that point my attitude did change and I did ask you who you were talking too and what your problem was. Yes I am quite certain I then used profanity and become angry. I am not perfect and I have nothing to hide. To which Charles only answered with more insults to the point I responded "can we get the car or not and do I need to ask a police officer to come with us?" At that point Aaron took over the phone call and attempted to smoke screen the issue of Charles disrespecting a customer with who was supposed to call who. How does that in anyway justify Charles actions toward customer? Even if I did make a mistake does that give you the right to be disrespectful? Aaron did ask what I wanted out of this situation. I asked for an apology from Charles. I was not told Charles would apologize but that he would call me back in a min. This too never happened. This could be a pattern of behavior depending upon whose version you choose to believe. As for Charles, this employee is not only rude & unprofessional but also very un appreciative for

Buyer beware! We spent the entire day working out the details on the purchase of a truck for my son. We spoke 5 times on the phone, the lst time from the bank making sure we had what we needed and who needed to be there to sign papers. Our last words were “We are on our way, we will call if we have any issues.” He said sounds good, we are holding the truck for you. 20 minutes later we are on the highway and get a call saying the truck had been sold! I asked to speak to Aaron, the owner and the person I’d been speaking to all day and they tell me he’s not there. They refused to call him on his cell. I’ve tried to reach out to him via the company Facebook page and his personal Facebook page with ZERO response.This isn’t how you should do business and this isn’t the experience I wanted my 18 year old to have for his first buying experience. I write this message to warn other in hopes of not having to go through this yourself.

0 star. Very bad experience. Got a car and regretting now for it. Disappointing to see my hard earned money went for the worthless car which they already know and also get to see those rude behavior face when went to seek help. My fault and would never refer to anyone/comeback.

I went there looking for a truck and didn’t know if I would get approved they helped me get in a nice ford truck, I had some questions and they fixed the little thing real happy with there help. They are friendly and helpful

This local, family owned company was professional in ever sense. I worked with Ben, who was amazing. I spent the day seeing other companies and car lots and was being pushed around all over. These other places were trying to hard sell me on cars that I didn't want. I finally made my way to Performance and found EXACTLY what I was needing. My 2015 Jeep Patriot is amazing. It's clean, had 70k mikes and drives GREAT! They were straight forward and HONEST. I will go back here if I ever need to. (I recommended this company to a friend who went out and bought a car that weekend) both of us had amazing experiences and I believe you will too. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. Keep it up guys!
