Slaughter Pen Trail

Hours: Slaughter Pen Trail is an iconic trail system that was started in 2013 and now spans over 30 miles. Beginning at the entrance to Compton Gardens and heading north through the pristine Ozark forests towards Bella Vista, the trail features three distinct phases with incredible bridges, structures, and purpose-built features catering to every level of cyclist. This trail system is perfect for riders of all skill levels, from very first-time cyclists to black diamond experts. The trails are designed to cater to all abilities, offering fun and challenging experiences. Experienced riders are often friendly and willing to provide advice on the best trails and techniques. With so much to explore, it would take a week to ride even half of the expansive trail network. Visitors from near and far, including a family from Florida, have had an amazing time at Slaughter Pen, citing the great variety of trails, from rocky to smooth dirt, as well as the awesome skills area.
