I had an extra barrel made for my rifle so now I have my choice between smoothbore or rifle. The lock time is incredibly fast, much faster than ay of my other flintlocks. I believe it is in part due to the unique “funnel” design in the touchhole that seems to do magic. I’ve been shooting flintlocks for hunting and competition since the late 70’s and for reliability, accuracy and quality these can’t be beat.”
