I have used H and R block for years and always had a good experience however this year I did my taxes in the Bryant Arkansas office and was lied to about my emerald card said they don't use it anymore when they do they also said my taxes would be 150. They charged 200 then Belinda the manger ser me appointments to get it refunded and never called or refunded the stolen money then said that it would come out of my federal return but they took my state they gave the wrong birthrate which Belinda said did not need to be amended and it did Gale nor anyone else knows the number for the manager or just won't give it for Allen and I still don't have my refund awful experience I would. Not use these people

Filing my taxes with H&R Block is easy, and convenient since they offer a refund advance. The downside is that the cost is high.

I had Pamela previously, she was much more helpful than the lady I had today. The lady today didn’t have much insight to give and didn’t have half the personality and communication skills Pamela does. All of that can be changed with experience, though. She did nothing wrong although I do believe Pamela’s experience would’ve gotten me a slightly higher amount on tax breaks.Side note: It was also hot enough it could’ve caused a heat stroke and no air flow which is odd considering it’s the beginning of February.

My husband and I normally do our taxes online but decided this year we would go to a professional since having a baby this past year. We worked with Pamela at HR block in Bryant and we will be going back to her for years to come. She was knowledgeable, answered all questions, took the time to do everything the right way. She did not rush at all and the best part was we were very impressed with our refund! Highly recommend using Pam at HR block!

Honestly, the lady who did my taxes was friendly BUT I still haven’t understood why I paid 175 dollars to have W2s entered in when I could have done that online. I have used H&R Block for about 10 years and usually do my own taxes. I came in person this year because I bought a home. I asked for time to wait and ask the bank about a mortgage tax credit but then felt pressured so I said okay. I didn’t feel that there was any searching to see if I got my biggest refund. A friend recommended William’s Tax Service to me in Benton who charges 50 dollars, so I’ll be trying them next year.

I came here for the advance on my return, i paid H&R Block 500 dollars and was told that i will receive the advance within 24 hours , only ti be told the next day that i was denied, so why did i pay the 500 dollars , shouldnt you tell people there denied for the advancement
