We started when this was Metropolitan Bank. That was a good bank. This place is not a bad bank but it's not a great bank either. They never answer the phone. NEVER. All these other banks are making news for lowering the bounced check fees to $10, $15. This bank here just UPPED their bounced check fees to $36 per check. I don't bounce a check often but, when I do, I like to do it well. Those $36 fees add up so pardon us if we switch banks soon. I would also like to add here that I bounced a check just recently yet had the money in the bank to cover it. I called and asked them about it. The money was there (I logged in online before I ever used the debit card). They told me that my deposit wasn't hard posted yet and that's why yet the online banking showed the money in my bank account. That's right. I log on. The money is IN the bank according to their online banking so I use my debit card and get charged a bounced check fee. Something doesn't add up there.

Simmons has been my bank for 14 years and I love them. Great customer service, especially in Bryant. Never any issues and always on top of everything.

Tried to download app it kept asking me to use a number it gave me to prove it was me. No No No to much trouble deleted the damn app from my phone. And what's sad I've been with them for more than 20 years..

You ever notice how the more money you make the more problems your app has or the bank has with pending payments. Have you realized 75 percent of the time your app does not reflect the order in which you have made your purchases. Thought banks were here to just hold my money, I guess not. The 11 billion they make off overdraft fees and insufficient funds they have perfected down to the loyalty of there employees trying to convince you that you paid your rent on the 11 when you clearly did not. Why do they take so long to process payments if it’s done through a computer. I could understand mistakes if there was a human being pushing my payments through, even than it makes it clear on how they pay these employees, not very much but we get it.

Customer service is usually pretty good. Fees are minimal with Simmons Bank. It seems like the ATM on Reynolds Rd only works 10-15% of the time so DO NOT COUNT ON IT WORKING. The US Bank ATM always has money and it’s a free withdrawal.

The local banks won't answer the phone when I need to talk to a real person at my local bank. The number goes to an automated system that can't handle my problem. I will have to go through the drive through to handle something that will take a long time when if I could have talked to someone????? Then their website wants to send me to Pine bluff when I live on Alcoa exit in Benton Bryant area.
