“I just tried to call the store to clarify a order that is being picked up through DoorDash and it takes them three minutes to answer a phone call for a customer so please if you want us to continue to shop at your store the next time have people start answering the phone calls that are trying to confirm a possible order through DoorDash or I will make it complete through DoorDash the next time thank you”

“IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN TO POPSHELF, GO NOW!!! You can’t imagine how amazing this store is! We are all on a budget and this store is SOOOO much cheaper than anywhere else! Plus the sales and coupons! The staff is incredible, always smiling helping you in any way. The store is super clean and organized at ANY time you go! I don’t see other stores in our area this nice and accessible. There’s so many beautiful home decor pieces, pillows, blankets, rugs, all of your container, cleaning supplies, gift bags, toys and sooooo much more. It surprises me that this is not everyone’s first stop before Hobby Lobby or TjMaxx! What you’re looking for is so much cheaper at POPSHELF. Stop throwing your money away and get everything here! It will be your new favorite place!!!”

“I visited this Five Below on Tuesday (2 days ago) and met Brandi. She was the friendliest sales associate I have ever met. I, like everyone else on the planet, have spent weeks looking for the viral dumplings. I have been to Five Below’s in 3 states the past week. Unfortunately, I was not treated nicely at any other locations… however, EVERYONE at this location was extra personable and genuine. I returned the next day and met Mrs Kim, whom I believe is the store manager. She was a ray of sunshine!!!! She informed me and other customers around that she was hopeful they would have dumplings in stock on Thursday. I arrived at the store before opening on Thursday and had the pleasure of meeting the new District Manager. I was SO excited to tell her how INCREDIBLE her staff was at this location. We were able to purchase our limits of dumplings and all of my cousins and nephews are as happy as they can be!!! I will 1000000% be traveling over 100 miles from home just to shop at this Five Below in the future!! I have never experienced sales associates in any store that were as friendly and accommodating as the staff here. Everyone that works here goes above and beyond for their customers and you can tell that they truly LOVE their jobs!! I have worked in retail for 15+ years and it is so refreshing to find associates that love their jobs as much as this staff does! THANK YOU for making our trip to Little Rock to special!! We will be back VERY soon!”
Dollar General opened its 20,000th U.S. store on February 24th in Alice, Texas. It’s a major milestone for the discount chain that started as one small general store back in 1955. Starting with a ribbon cutting ceremony, the grand opening celebration began at 9am. First customers received some freebies - tote bags filled with free product samples and snacks from DG's Clover Valley brand.
