Just left the store its 12/07/2025 @ 1:26pm and this old women who was the cashier decided she wanted to put her in her opinion on what i should or shouldnt be allowed to buy with my ebt! Telling me i shouldnt be allowed to buy my child a candy bar!!! Yall need to get your employees under control.. speaking to me like that ABOUT MY CHILDREN

A typical Dollar General. You either like them or don't. Watch prices, because you can find items cheaper here, but sometimes it's cheaper some other place.

me and my friend went to get newspaper today for a project. The stand outside said to go inside and ask employees for the newspaper. We go in and I asked the girl behind the counter with red hair “hey how can we get some newspapers?” she pointed to them laying at the end of the counter and said “you go grab it and I scan it ?” I was a little shocked but I said “okay perfect”. then when paying my card sometimes doesn’t go on the first try with apple pay for whatever reason. she was quick to say loudly, “it declined, do you have it locked or something?” then I said i’ll just pay cash. I know people have bad days but disappointing when kindness and politeness is met with rude actions.

Great little store however I have to give it 3 instead of 5 stars because the road to the parking lot is directly across another busy road that turns into some neighborhoods and a school. Who ever put that road there to the parking lot was a buffoon! Ive seen a lot of cars that almost crash because two oncoming cars are trying to use that middle turn lane on the main road at the same time.

Don’t go to general dollar, their employees ignore you and act like their are doing you a favor by cashing you out, they used to have a bell with a sign on it, ring the bell just once no more., after I was ignored when I was trying to pay somebody finally showed up after the phone rings, I looked at him and I left.
