Valero has great, super friendly, helpful, and conversational people working inside. However, the station receives criticism for its pumps and maintenance. The pumps often malfunction, with credit card readers failing, causing issues with paying at the pump. The pumps are slow, and the diesel pumps have payment problems. The gas prices are usually higher than comparable stations. The station lacks a working car wash and only has one window squeegee. A major complaint is the inability to get gas after closing, even though the pumps could technically take cards. The lights also flicker. While it is the only option for some, customers feel the place could really use some maintenance and updates to be better.

This is the slowest pump in the world. Give yourself extra time if you need gas

Helpful people work here. 3 stars because the pumps never want to read my card anymore ( it's not damaged in anyway) the point of paying at the pump is not having to go inside to pay.. I don't have the problem anywhere except in Calico.
