Not bad! Food was pretty good but if slightly varying temperatures. Service was not bad either. The atmosphere is slightly charming. Restrooms were very good!

Great food and service! All the staff is just so nice. My favs are the pulled pork, the ribs, the catfish, and the colored greens. Oh, and the onion rings are THE BEST I’ve ever had! They’re meaty and tender. The whole onion doesn’t slide out on the first bite like most places.

Food is great. Pricey for the amount of catfish you get.

Meats, Excellent. Sides Not so much. For 55.00 you expect more than 3 onion rings and baked beans should be house made, not great value out of a can. Atmosphere and Server were great however. Probably won't stop again.

We stopped once in Carlisle heading west on 40 during a storm. We went to the right and waited out a thunder storm. We don’t experiment much on trips. We usually stop at the arches for clean restrooms. Who knew that if we’d gone to the left, instead of to the cemetery, we could have gotten shelter, good barbecue, and clean restrooms? The barbecue was plentiful, moist, and delicious. The slaw was a surprise. The parking lot was full. And, the restrooms (for customers) were clean. What a great stop. Oh, and there was the men’s/women’s directional sign. Cracked me up.
