This bank is a joke. We gave them a second chance and well they showed us why we left in the first place. We were trying to find a local bank bc we are getting ready to build a house. We wanted a local bank to do with. Arvest will not be the bank. I will be closing the account tomorrow. Regions got our business and is getting our home loan. If I could give negative starts I would.

I came in last month to open a new checking account. I asked for a free account with no monthly charges, and was told that was the account I was opening. A month later I received a monthly charge. I went in to the bank and was able to change it back to a free account. However they will not refund the previous charges. I was lied to by the first employee that I worked with, which is very frustrating. Although the charge is only a small amount, the principle of being lied to and taken advantage of, then have the bank not at least offer to compensate for their mistake is telling.

I don't understand why I can't ever get someone on the phone whenever I either call the branch or the 800 number for customer service ?. I mean why have phone numbers of u can't speak with anyone. I have concerns about my mortgage that I need to talk to someone about and starting to wonder if I need to consider changing to someone else

This bank does not confirm funds on the checks their account holders write to other banks . Even very large ones. Like writing hot checks? This is your bank.

Opened a checking account on the 10th of Feb. As of Feb 19th still waiting on a debit card in the mail to actually be able to use the money I put in my account.This would be okay 15 years ago, but everything is done online or through mobile payment now. You would think they would have digital online cards or temporary ones until the real one comes in or at least have rush shipping on them. Why make your customer wait a week and a half to be able to use the checking account they opened?If I can order a Amazon package and have it be delivered the next day, I should be able to open an account and have a card within 3 days…

mailed a payment to them from my payment book which had there p.o. box address and was returned to me by the post office. tried to call them on their number which was impossible to get in touch with anyone. I have mailed again to the same P.O. Box.

I just moved to this area and have been with arvest for years and when I went in to get a new debit card they were really friendly. I was also very happy to find out they could make my card the same day instead of waiting for it in the mail unlike my previous branches in ft smith.

Worked with Marlon to open up a savings and checking account for my 17 year old. Very helpful, did a good job explaining the features of the accounts and how to access on phone and computer. Also, provided printed copies of everything before asking to sign the electronic signature pad. Very satisfied and will continue to recommend to family and friends.
