I've been banking with Centennial for over a decade and recently started a new job and set up direct deposit. The transaction showed as pending several days after payday so I visited the Chestnut branch because they wouldn't answer the phone. The manager confirmed that the deposit showed as pending on my account at Centennial but told me I probably entered my account number or routing number wrong in ADP. I confirmed that the information was correct and then the manager blamed my new employer. I contacted the payroll department at my new employer and they confirmed the issue was that Centennial did not authorize the deposit in time so the check was mailed. Absolute worst experience I've ever had with a bank and I'll be taking my business to a bank that doesn't blame their customers for their issues.

This branch allowed attempted transactions against my account AFTER I closed the account, then charged me several NSF fees on the (again) already closed down account for these attempted transactions, and then sent the fees to a collections agency before I was even aware this was taking place. The manager at this location initially "promised to work with me" before her demeanor turned south on a subsequent visit and I was eventually stuck with the erroneous debt. How is this not illegal? Centennial should be absolutely ashamed of themselves and the manager at this location should be replaced. I had an account with this bank for over a decade but will never bank with them again, and will discourage everyone I speak to from doing so as well.

UPDATE: I was contacted by an associate that explained that the lady I spoke with was uninformed. She said the bank recently bought another bank, causing a lot of strain on the calls and that they are working on finding a solution. What is going on!? I used to love that, with Centennial, an actual local person would answer my calls, unlike Arvest. However, for a week, all branches have had an INSANE wait time - today, each branch is between 57 and 76 callers ahead of me.This, after someone in France tried to use my card, my card was locked, then closed - all fine. Then, the lady insisted that I go to the branch for a new card. I explained that this account is used for auto-drafting joint bills, and there was another card if I just happened to need it, and 7-10 business days would be perfectly fine for me wait. She assured me again, that it would be much faster at a branch. I explained that I had gotten a card printed from a different bank at the branch, and the quality was unacceptable, that I'd like to just have it mailed. Finally, she asked if I want the same design on the card, I said "yes," she submitted the order. Done. Until the card came in, a completely different design. -_- And here I am, trying to get a new card, with no way to reach someone to reissue my card. This has me so, so very close to closing my account.

Having banked with them for the last 7 years, I have watched customer service and basic banking practice get worse and worse. Today became the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. Did not return a phone call regarding their mistake. Debit card issued without the three digit security code. Our choices to correct this issue:. Wait two weeks for new debit card or drive three hours round trip to pick up new card during business hours. Third option, after this round of auto debits gets done, find a new bank. I wonder which one we will choose .

This bank especially this location is the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I have never been more offended or shocked in my life with how these employees treated me. Do yourself a favor and do NOT waste your time banking with people like this. I cannot stress my disgust enough.

Hate to say it but the service here is below acceptable to be considered an actual business. I was treated so poorly here and could hear people talking trash about me when they were in their offices. Switching banks!

This is just not a very good bank at all when it comes to taking care of customers needs and helping customers with their banking needs. Their customer service skills are lacking and they need to refocus on offering great banking services like the amazing First National Bank many of their staff came from back in the day.

Very rude bank. To open an account you must have a Driver's License. There is people that can not get a DL due to a disability. Such as me I am blind in one eye and losing site in my other eye. I can not drive. Why can they not take a State ID? It is still a government ID. How is it right to discriminate against people with a disability? They told me it has nothing to to with discrimination. But if you deny someone the ability to open an account because you are not allowed a DL due to a disability that is totally discrimination. There is so many people that can not get a DL and not because they lost their DL but due to disabilities. Why is this allowed?

I've been banking here for years now. So far, it's been one of the best banks I've ever banked at, considering I've lived in 3 different states. Most people seem eager to help here, and they are very nice and understanding for the most part. This review is also NOT for the Conway branch. This review is meant for beebe, which is normally a branch that I don't go to (I just happened to be in the area on this particular day). I don't normally do reviews but my experience was so bad this time around that I figured I'd give some feedback because this was NOT acceptable whatsoever in my opinion. I walked in and did my normal business but had a few extra questions regarding my account. The teller was knowledgeable but had to go and verify something with the manager in the office behind me. The name on her desk said Christy Fisher, which I'm assuming is her name. Blond hair and seemed really nice at first. She explained a few things to me in a nice manner but once I started questioning her more, she seemed to lose patience with me and got pretty hostile towards me. She was EXTREMELY rude to me. Almost as if she were going to lose her temper and I was not rude towards her whatsoever. It's sad to know that she is in her position, and is too lazy and does not care enough to hear somebody out. She then said she was done speaking because I should understand banking, and it is my fault I don't understand but I do not work at a bank therefor I don't know why I should know everything about it. She just did not want to be a good enough person to take time out of her day to help a customer. Also I might add that it appeared she was sitting on her cell phone in her office before she was bothered to help me or the teller and she said to the teller "seriously? What now?" As if she didn't want to help her employee. VERY shitty customer service. She seemed very lazy, and selfish. I would never hire somebody like that, and I feel sorry for people who work under her by the way she spoke to that teller. Some of them are probably miserable as can be to what I understood from this day recently. Luckily this was my only bad experience with this bank, otherwise I would be closing all my accounts because nobody wants to be associated with a fake and selfish woman like that! Bless her heart. Even if it's a bad day that's no excuse to treat me like that or anybody else. Makes me worry she does it to others. I don't know why such a good bank has such a crappy manager over this branch! She either needs to change her ways or get spoken to because I will never tolerate this again. I should be able to walk in there if I'm in town but I don't feel comfortable enough so due to this snake of a person!

I've been banking with these guys for 3to4 years in the past year I've experienced problems that they cause because there employees are careless and undertrained. I've had enough of there problems that they've caused due to there recent mess up I now am a lil screwed on how to survive for two weeks I will not do business with them anymore and do not recommend them to anyone they are nothing but liars and thieves.
