I don’t go to GameStop often, so walking in I wasn’t sure where to look. Cecilia instantly put a smile on my face and helped me find what I was looking for and also showed me around to other things I would like. (I also overheard that she does a lot of their promo, so a hard worker too). She was definitely the light of my day and gave me not one, but TWO PIECES of her chocolates. If you’re going on a Sunday, ask for Cecilia, you will not be disappointed!!!

We preordered a game and on 10-12-2023 I received a call from a woman in that store that our game would be ready for pickup on 10-19-23. Never told me a time of pickup. We drove one hour and 15 min. to pick game up. Walk in store to tell the lady we was here (4:10pm) to pick the game up. She takes my money and then says I can’t give it to you until 11:00pm. I was like you’re kidding me? I ask her to call someone higher up to see if anything can be done. She speaks to someone and still nothing. The girl that called should tell the person when there are times. This is something that should Have been fixed when a mistake was on their end. We did try to call customer service and there was no help there either. It would be 4 to 5 business days before someone got back to us. Sorry customer service! The woman in the store was very smirky.

I went in to this GameStop today looking for action figures and funko pops. The worker Kayla went above and beyond to help me find what I wanted and more. I have never experienced a more helpful employee at a GameStop. I will definitely shop here again.

Let me preface this by saying I hate leaving 1 star reviews.But my experience today warrants a 1 star review.I stopped by the store to pick up a copy of RE4 remake for PS5, I did not pre-order it because I wanted to wait for the reviews to see if it’s worth getting.I walked into the store and asked if they had a copy, I was met with a very belittling attitude and response from the girl behind the counter. She informed me they had a copy, but then proceeded to tell me that I was basically stupid for not preordering the game. While she was getting the copy out of the case she proceeded to tell me about other games coming out that I needed to preorder. I told her I was not interested at the moment and was met with another snarky remark “don’t get upset when you walk in and we don’t have a copy” she continued to press that I preorder these certain games because of bonuses and I kept telling her I was not interested. What she didn’t know was I had already preordered the game from another local game store.I understand you’re trying to sell people on preorders so they don’t get upset about not getting a copy of the game. But if I come into your store wanting a copy, do not belittle me for not preordering the game. Some people don’t do that because they’ve been burned by bad games. If you didn’t have a copy I was looking for, I would’ve said thank you and walked out.I’ve never left a game store feeling as uncomfortable and awkward as I did today. Even the other people in the store had an uncomfortable attitude after the encounter. If you want a good game store experience, go elsewhere.

Kayla was I think the only employee in the store, but handled it amazingly well and still had a smile on their face.

My opinion on this particular Gamestop is mixed. They're always low in stock and don't offer much for trade-ins though they've gotten a little better on values. I wish they opened a little earlier too. All the other game stores in the area are open at 10am and this store doesn't open til' 12pm which is a minor inconvenience. The staff doesn't seem engaged at all and as a customer I feel ignored most of the time shopping here because the employees will spend the entire time talking between each other instead of helping the customers. Feels a little rude to be honest, but there doesn't seem to be any management either so that's understandable.

i ordered a preowned copy of animal crossing: new horizons online and it was ready for pickup very quickly. the employees here are quite nice even when they're stressed. will be returning!

TERRIBLE experience. We bought a used game from them and purchased the protection plan in case the game didn't work and guess what? The game didn't work! So we called and spoke with Michelle who was absolutely USELESS to our cause. She said we couldn't return the game at all, even with the protection plan! So we asked what the hell is the point of the plan? To which she said that they could replace the game, so we said let's do that... But she said they don't have another copy and don't know when they'll get another copy. They had another copy at a different store but they wouldn't get it sent to our store for us and we'd have to drive to go get it. Ridiculous and horrible customer service.
