Went in the other day during a sale. A couple of items were pretty good deals, but out of ladders, the day of the sale maybe order up before a sale coming up.

Bought a tool. It wouldn't do the job I was needing it for. Which is fine. Sometimes things don't work out. I would never write a review about this. But I went to return that tool. The gentleman that initially helped me was great. The store manager had to authorize the return. This is where it went bad. She came up front seemed to already have an attitude. I had the tool for 2 days. She looked at it and said this looks like it has been used for way longer than 2 days. Which it didn't. And proceeded to accuse me of swapping them out for an old one. Then we got the return settled and she said she was putting a ban on my account so I can't return things. Horrible customer service and a horrible experience. I will no longer shop with them.

Shopping around for a generator I stopped here on a whim to check prices. I was a little disappointed and not one employee could answer any questions I had about the generators. I was told it's available online, look it up. I can Google things myself, as a customer I would appreciate the info as to why I asked an employee. This is now the 2nd time at different locations I have had issues with obtaining information on a product I wanted to purchase.

Items show in stock NOT at the store. Drive 20 min. With gas at $2.99 gal. for Nothing. This has happened multiple times. Coupons…. They put out a ton of coupons but do NOT honor them!!! Wrong dates, expired or not available at this location. DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES!!!! Pissed Club Member!!!!

We've consistently gotten some great deals at HF. The best generator we've ever had was one we got on sale here. It's like the Dollar General store of tool places, some things will be a lot cheaper and some things aren't, but they've always got a good sale going somewhere in the store, and they send out coupons in the mail amd email to loyalty members.

The best temporary tools in town. Pretty good selection of tools and rarely out of stock. Low rating because they hit every person in line up for phone and email so they can send you spam. That and holding up long lines to try and sign customers up for memberships or credit cards
