This was the worst service we have ever encountered. My husband took my truck in yesterday to have the A/C checked, as it was not functioning properly. After I asked him to confirm with the technician whether it was the compressor or condenser, he was assured that it was neither. They recharged the system and advised him to bring it back if it leaked again. Well, surprise! It all leaked out after we paid $230. He returned today, only to find out it was indeed the condenser. Not only did they seem to lack expertise, but they also wasted our money. If you want to throw away your money and receive an inaccurate diagnosis, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, I recommend seeking better service from knowledgeable mechanics elsewhere.

Don’t waste your time! Multiple reviews on here about them mistaken a leak, them being uneducated, and overpricing customers. we are out of $156 because they said they “think” my 2018 Toyota had a leak.. before we paid for the diagnostics test we should have looked at the reviews and/or got a 2nd opinion. Nate kept trying to make deals on prices that’s why I refused service. I had my car there all day just for them to tell me there was no leaks, and they asked me to bring my car back Friday to double check.. no I will not!

People were nice, diagnosis was not the fix and I was out $600.

I went in for an oil change. I was informed of other issues such as a leak that needed immediate attention. I allowed the services to be performed. I am not sure if the issue was resolved; my car is still leaking.

CAUTION: AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Refused to give me an estimate over the phone. First they said they needed the vehicle at the shop to get the vin to "make sure they got the right parts." I offered to give them the vin, and "Chuck" the service advisor got really quiet for a moment, and then said they weren't authorized to give estimates over the phone. This was simply for an alternator and belt. I told them I understand that it might need more work related to the repair, and I just wanted a ballpark for what it would cost me, comparing to some other quotes I had received, however they still refused. I told them I would just take it somewhere else and they just said okay. I guess they didn't want the work that bad.
This was all actually some "detective" work I decided to do before applying for a management position with the business. My truck doesn't actually need an alternator or belt, and their refusal to give me a quote proved to me that their ethics are subpar. I did this based on the many 1 star reviews of the business to see if it was a place I even wanted to be associated with. I used to manage the business 6 or so years ago, but the owner who hired me sold the business, and the new owners were doing things I didn't agree with, so I left.
I can see things haven't changed. I fully believe they were trying to get my vehicle in the shop so I would be more inclined to have the work performed. It's a trick of the trade, so consumers beware. It's likely they would have pulled a "bait and switch" tactic on me, and frankly, I did not want them to touch my truck because I was afraid they might create "issues" that they would then try to sell me on. A common tactic amongst shady automotive businesses.
They lost the potential for a quality candidate for their open position, they are receiving this 1 star review, and word of mouth from me to everyone I know not to visit their shop for maintenance and repairs. Call my actions "sneaky" if you will, but I call it due diligence and precaution.

After waiting a little more than an hour and only after i asked the guy at the counter for the status on my jeep they told me they will not be able to do my alighnment because I had the wrong lug nuts on which I thought was crazy but went down the road and had the guys at both Advanced auto parts and O'Reillys check to be on the safe side and both places pretty thought the same thing

First they said that they can't use their alignment machine on a 2021 mustang, because it only goes to 2019. So they said they would do it manually. Then when I said I can't believe that they don't have the ability to align toe on a 2021 mustang, they changed the story and said they could on the machine, but that I wouldn't get a print out because their "printer is out of ink." Just kept giving excuses. It's like they don't want to do the work and they just want to take money. I do not recommend this shop for anything.

I had a horrible experience with Meineke. I spent $2,300 getting everything done on my Toyota Truck that they said needed immediate attention or will need attention in the future. I agreed to all of it and emptied my credit card to get my pickup fixed. I drove home and the next morning I had lights across the dash saying check engine, etc... When I returned to Meineke, Nate explained to me it would be $1,300 additional dollars to have my air pump and tire sensors replaced. In what world is it okay to tell a customer this? I thought I had paid for everything to be repaired only to find out they wanted an additional $1,300 dollars. Nate told me that because my check engine light was not on when I left the shop, I would have to pay $1,300 and that "might" fix the problem. What???

Went to Meineke in Conway AR to have a lug nut bolt replaced. This was a simple no cost referral from another service center who had accidentally snapped the bolt when doing an alignment. It was only to take 1/2 hour and is all that was requested. After about an hour they came and provided me with a $1700 estimate that basically stated I needed to replace the tie rods and control arms on both front wheels. They had actually spread some fresh grease on the tie rod they showed me stating it needed replacement. Of course it would then need another alignment. I returned to the location where the alignment was performed and they went over everything very thoroughly to demonstrate everything was fine. The car drove fine and the original issue was resolved. Don’t trust these people.

If there is any repair shop to stay clear of its this place. Rather than explain what I experienced, the comments and experiences from previous customers listed are true and correct. I personally watched customers inside the waiting area either be shocked by the prices or irate with the work. I declined all service because of the demeanor of the manager after I asked questions about my estimate, As a mechanic, I suggest you take your vehicles to the dealership. It's cheaper and safer on your wallet than this company.

Talked to them on the phone and he said bring it in for free inspection but then when I got there he said nevermind it’s $100. Bait and switch. I would have just paid first an alignment had he just answered the very first question I asked on the phone.

Meineke Car Shop takes advantage of customers that are not very knowledgeable about vehicles. They over charge while pretending to help them. They claim to have free towing and free diagnostic but charge $300 for a battery and $500 for a starter. On top of that there is an $80 labor fee for each of those. We later found out she didn’t need a new battery or starter. They were supposed to be working on the engine. Wolves in sheep clothing. Don’t fall for the scam. They are only helping themselves to take you for as much as they can. I do not recommend you use their services.
