Diamond Pet Foods is a very good and tidy site located in the countryside. For drivers, the process begins at the shipping door to check in and receive instructions and scale paper. The truck entrance is straight ahead after the railroad gate. Drivers must then go to the scale house, which is nonnegotiable. There are two large-scale open doors: one for fertilizer type trucks and the second for drive vans. After weighing, drivers go into the scale office to get a scale receipt from a small machine by hitting a red button. This paperwork is then taken back to the shipping center near dock #4 to receive a dock assignment and further instructions. For preloaded trailers, drivers follow the information on the paperwork provided. Live loading procedures are not detailed. The site offers overnight parking as long as trucks are not blocking the docks. While the process involves several steps and can feel like a lot of work, sometimes with a long wait at the scales, drivers are generally out in approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Facilities include portable toilets. Staff can be really nice and helpful, though experiences vary. The key is to be nice, ask questions, and follow the posted instructions and pictures.

Arrived @5pm for a 7:00pm appointment, after scaling and following directions I was put in staging and received a call at 6:35pm was loaded with BOLs @ 7:45pm 🫡

This is very nice place open from 8am to 23:59midnight people over here very respectful. They unload me fast also overnight parking.

Overall, not a bad place for picking up a load. Make sure to do your scale weight again 2 miles away from the company at the catscale( shell truck stop ) because numbers are slightly different from their scale and official cat scale..
