“What a delightful find! Walking the streets of Eureka Springs and stumbled into the shop. Immediately struck by the colors, themes and amount of folk art. Sylvia, one of the Wilsons was busy at work but more then willing to help out or allow to browse. Further chit chat revealed we had a north Houston connection. A small world for sure. A beautiful, colorful, peaceful and joy-filled shop. Gift ideas for folk art lovers from reasonable to extravagant. Thank you, Sylvia for your hospitality!

“Could've easily spent all my money in this store. They truly have something for everyone. Very clean and well put together. Lady at the counter was super sweet and helpful. Will definitely be back if ever in town!”
“This place is fantastic for the casual or serious art collector. Several great regional artists represented and the talent is top notch. Parking can be tight but move down the street and walk back. It's worth the trouble.”
“This was a small, tidy art gallery and shop, selling art projects from local artists in the area. Much of the art was very well done and ranged from sculpture, prints, and even musical instruments.
The lady inside was friendly, and ready to answer our questions.
If we ever come back to Eureka, I'd like to revisit!
Sidenote: you may be wondering why google's photos on this place are so limited. It's because there is no photography permitted inside.”
“More than local art located here at Statton Gallery ! Maddison Garden's is the perfect little spot to Host venue's of your imagination . Downstairs you will be enchanted with the delightful rooms to let.”
“This darling art studio is in a tight location so that once you see it (when heading into Eureka Springs), it is likely you will have already passed it. Here's what you should do next:Turn around! (Watch for the flags outside!) Go meet Jody Stephenson, the artist, and buy an original painting. She is a gifted painter, and her husband is a talented photographer. My sister and I turned around and this stop ended up being one of the highlights of our day! In fact, we went twice and both of us purchased paintings. What a wonderful way to remember a lovely trip every time you see the art ❤....the conversation, the quality of Jody's art and the thrill of finding pieces that fit perfectly in our homes. By the way, she wrapped them professionally to protect her work, which made for easy transport home. Thanks, Jody! We'll be back this fall for more!”
“Such a fun gallery! You have to check out their UV art for the full experience! The artist working there today was really engaging and we enjoyed meeting him. I wish we had gotten his name!”
“A lovely boutique that we just happened upon. The owner was delightful and my wife went right to work trying on new things. Spending almost an hour there my wife made a number of very smart looking selections and we departed happy. The boutique also sports a coffee bar. It closes at 3pm so we just missed it. The boutique is open until 6pm.”

“SUPER cool place, beautiful art! Staff was wonderful and welcoming! They don’t allow photos- which I totally respect for the artists! They carry lots of unique art and even stuff made by THE James Dean himself (Pete the Cat) all around wonderful experience!”
“I've been here a few times. The people here are so lovely and friendly. Years ago I went kind of early in the day and ended up meeting a very talented young artist that took me back to his studio/room to show me his artwork. His walls were covered in these beautiful amazing paintings in lively colors. Just stunning. But one small area had a much darker feel to it. He took me straight to those. I asked him about all the vibrant paintings and he told me that his mom paid for him to go to college for things like that. But the things he was showing me were the paintings he does for himself. I chucked at that, it made sense. I noticed one very strange piece of art and he told me that it was a rendering of the ghost that has haunted him his whole life. Sometimes good and sometimes bad. He told me several stories. It was fascinating. He asked me if I wanted the piece of art and I told him I'd happily purchase it. He said he can't sell the art of the ghost. It doesn't seem right. So I purchased another of his darker pieces and gave him a very generous tip for the ghost art. After that he took me around to introduce me to the other artists that were awake. It was all so beautiful and the artists were fantastic. They asked me to stay for breakfast, grilled vegetables. It was an amazing, magical time. They said that if I came back later in the day more people would be awake. He said they all function on river time. ?”
“I stopped in at this little shop & ended to leaving with both Explorer’s Guide to Curious Creatures & Ghost Town. Ashley’s husband was the one at the store & knowing that his wife was the author of the books truly sold me. There are a variety of unique items in this shop. I’m excited for my child to be old enough to enjoy the books! I may just have to get the rest of Ashley’s collection on my next trip.”
