“This is the first time we have popped into Quicksilver and had the shop full of other shoppers. I’m happy to see other people enjoying the place, but it made it harder to look at everything. All the same, we perused the jewelry cases and found a bin with some beautiful pen drawings. Downstairs was full of more artwork and garden art. I really wanted to by another bird picture for my parents, but my mother forbade me from getting another one. My mom bought one little item and we had a nice chat with the lady at the register. It was a great time, with lots of great stuff to look at.”

“This darling art studio is in a tight location so that once you see it (when heading into Eureka Springs), it is likely you will have already passed it. Here's what you should do next:Turn around! (Watch for the flags outside!) Go meet Jody Stephenson, the artist, and buy an original painting. She is a gifted painter, and her husband is a talented photographer. My sister and I turned around and this stop ended up being one of the highlights of our day! In fact, we went twice and both of us purchased paintings. What a wonderful way to remember a lovely trip every time you see the art ❤....the conversation, the quality of Jody's art and the thrill of finding pieces that fit perfectly in our homes. By the way, she wrapped them professionally to protect her work, which made for easy transport home.Thanks, Jody! We'll be back this fall for more!”

“A lovely boutique that we just happened upon. The owner was delightful and my wife went right to work trying on new things. Spending almost an hour there my wife made a number of very smart looking selections and we departed happy. The boutique also sports a coffee bar. It closes at 3pm so we just missed it. The boutique is open until 6pm.”

“My mom and I also pop into Iris when we are in downtown Eureka Springs. The same lady who helped us during our last visit was behind the counter and she was just as helpful and pleasant as last time. Most of the same artists had items on display. My mom spotted a gorgeous necklace in one of the cases. It was made up of three brass disks, coated with enamel on one side in three different blues. It was extremely unique. Also I spotted a variety of glass ornaments hanging near the front windows. They came in a several different shapes and sizes. They even had witch balls. I bought three different ones because I knew I would be upset if I didn’t leave with them. Great place to look around. Be warned, it is still an expensive place to shop.”
