“Me and my girlfriend decided to go to eureka and found this bed and breakfast. The room was great it's old but is very maintained. The room was very quiet and we got the room with the breakfast nook. It had a nice outdoor area which was very peaceful. The breakfast was very good and they even went to the store and got milk because I don't drink coffee. I really enjoyed the room and my stay. My only even slight complaint was the mattress was a bit firm for me. But that's more of a me issue and not the owners fault. Id definitely got back again amber made our stay very amazing if you want a quiet place to relax that's peaceful this is a great place to go. I love how the owner really tries to make it look like it's original decor you feel like you stepped back in time. This place definitely has good character which you don't see anymore. Between the fixtures and the nice fireplace you can tell someone really cares about your stay.”
“Great price for what we needed. We booked last minute (a week prior) and didn't really know what to expect, but the stay was fine. Check-in was easy, professional/friendly, and everything was accurate. It's a 10 minute walk to the heart of downtown Eureka Springs (99.9% of the walk was paved/sidewalk too). I will say the mattress left a bit to be desired (very clean, but a bit uncomfortable). Good location and felt very safe (we walked to downtown Eureka Springs early in the morning and late at night a couple of times).”

“Even if you don’t stay here, you have to go see this place! Just standing in the lobby gives you those feels of what it was like back in the day. Very cool grounds to walk, the hotel is free to browse. They have the grounds cats laying around to pet and love on. There is a very small gift shop with postcards, stickers and pens. Up on the 4th floor is a restaurant/bar with an overlook of the side grounds as well as the walls being filled with newspaper articles of the hotel from back in the day. A very near experience. Go see the ghost tour so you can see the morgue, the bellhops will not be tainted by money to let you in! ☺”

“This is an amazing resort. I’m not sure I understand how it’s only 2 stars. This place is beautiful. Top tier sauna, cold plunge, and outdoor shower in a picture perfect wooded area with twinkle lights all around for added beauty. Brand new hammocks in the woods that are just lovely and set in a gravel path so you can avoid ticks. My husband and I were able to completely unwind. It was like I was on a retreat. All staff were very friendly. The pool felt like salt water. It was really a lovely stay. They had pickle ball courts and games… so many games. It felt so relaxing. We don’t want to leave.”

“The Lotus suite was beautiful and spacious. The full kitchen. Was very nice and the jacuzzi tub was very relaxing. I especially loved the small door out to the back porch with a swing. Had a great stay!”
“Nice hotel with spacious rooms. Price is on point. Pool was not as clean as I’d like (cloudy).
Breakfast was amazing for $9.99! Service was very good.”

“My partner and I came here for our anniversary. It was our first time in Eureka Springs and we were just blown away by the kindness and amazing service of the staff at the Bavarian Inn. Ellen checked us in with a warm smile and kindness that is hard to come across these days.
The location was fantastic and close to everything. Our room was HUGE and very clean (honestly probably one of the cleanest places we have stayed). The whole place had a cozy feel to it and the nights were very quiet and peaceful. We loved the huge back porch and enormous jacuzzi!
Upon check out we met the owner, we had talked for over an hour. She was such an interesting and kind lady and she treated us like we were her family, even though we had just met. You can truly tell that she puts a lot of care into making sure her guests feel welcomed by her and her staff.
We absolutely plan on coming back to Eureka Springs and definitely will be staying at the Bavarian Inn again when we do, as the owner and all of her staff have made a very positive lasting impression on us!
Btw, if the owner does happen to read this.. thank you for getting my partner to kick his energy drink addiction. He has not had a single one since we talked about it with you!
and to anyone else reading this, please, book a stay here. You truly will not regret it. Most of the other guests we met during our stay have been return customers for a long time now and I feel that itself tells you everything you need to know.
Thank you for everything Jarka, Ellen and the rest of the team <3”
“We love the location of Wishing Star cottage. One of the bedrooms is really small but that didn't bother us. We have been back multiple times now and can't wait to go again. The location is awesome and the view of Christ of the Ozarks is the icing on the cake.”

“The owners were very nice and exceptionally accommodating. They strive for 5 star reviews and in turn shows. They really do care about your stay and go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy throughout the entire stay. The Piedmont is an incredible 1880’s historic building with much charm and conveniently located.”

“Magical place. Pulling up gives you the feeling of pulling up to the royal tenenbaum residence or like a ghibli movie made real. The old neon sign hangs out front and her old stone blocks give a feeling of endurance. You walk in and the all the furniture and decor are original or seem to be as if they’ve always existed there and even the add ons to the building from the 20s, 40, 80’s and today all seem to have been destined for this place. The unique rooms offer a special experience as each is furnished differently and with its own unique tub. I did not see the other rooms other than pictures online. If you do the smart thing you’ll book a stay in a tub at the bathhouse everyday anyway. The clawfooted tubs on the floor below street level are truly marvelous I’m 5’10” and the tub was almost too big for me with deep sides and tray full of an assortment of goodies to add to my bath. Each room is decorated with plants and antiques and I could almost feel the generations of patrons who must have also enjoyed this same nook and this same tub. I really really wish I had booked more bath time. I also received an excellent massage all in the same place and for a wintery vacation it was perfect! A hot bath with snow out the window and great people all around to accommodate.”

“Awesome place for a week and stay!! Any quick getaway really!! it was our 28th anniversary. We stumbled upon this place like the reviews and decided to give it a try. The place is super charming, pet friendly. A trolly stop and a very nice pool. A great fireplace.. they had different bands both Friday and Saturday night. They were both incredibly talented.. your rooms all have balconies so you can actually sit at your room and listen to the music if you don’t prefer to go to the bar. The drinks are amazing, the bartenders awesome. She made handmade cocktails for us, which is becoming more and more of a rare art. Sidenote, the bar at the balcony also does ❤️. The food at the gravel bar was amazing. We tried several things both nights and we’re not disappointed at all. The pizza is excellent.. Johnny loved the wings. We had an exceptionally great time.
Nearby activities: We had myrtle maze across the street which was pretty great food. Breakfast was very nice.. a really nice taco truck just down the road walking distance. And a little convenient store.”

“This is honestly the best hotel in Eureka Springs. The rooms are large and spacious - far superior than the Crescent and other hotels in the historic downtown. Absolutely a 10/10. We spent our anniversary here and will be coming back every year because we had so much fun, the location is top notch and the staff and room were incredible. They provide FREE PARKING, have little treats on every floor and the balconies are a blast to listen to all of live music in the area.
Another addition to add: the rooms and front door all have digital key codes. We appreciated that. And, the sister hotel a block up the stairs were very helpful.
This is a hidden gem. The bathtub was also a treasure - it was huge and also had jets. Normally I would never use one but this hotel is clean! Thank you very much!”

“Trolley stop at entry way to hotel!
Best way to get around.
Id also recommend bringing a electric bike or just ride small motorcycle.
Eureka Springs Historical downtown: We did drive out big pickup downtown and we're lucky to find $5.00 parking for 3 hours it took all that to walk around and hike back to the truck! Take water, be prepared its a hike to go up those steep roads!!! We are 60 and almost 60 it was do able but dang!
Hotel: Cheapest price was Super.com app it does charge fee after trial if you dont cancel it. No Bugs. No visible mold. Easy to darken room for sleep. Comfy bed. Clean room aside from spider webs on tip top of a mirror. This hotel will be under new mgmt soon and renovations will be made. So the pictures online are lak showing the age of things, like screws coming loose on shower seat, rust on metal surfaces, needs new paint in rooms, 1970's renovations looking strange with 1990s renovations but it was clean washed, mopped, vacuumed. our room 207 had the old cellar smell we used room spray to offset it. Water pressure was low, but bigger shower head or 2nd would help.
Hotel staff: expect to call them on provided phone at check in desk, but they are quick to arrive and always helpful and friendly!
Breakfast: go to the two places going towards historic downtown. The lady tried, but the waffle water tasted off, toasted set off smoke alarm embarrassing, apple juice was water, eggs were ok, biscuits get hard if you dont eat early, only meat is sausage. Muffins, apples, banas, yogurt, milk, orange juice, cereal etc...available.
I only eat toast pancake waffle bacon for bfast.
Hotel Pool and Hottub was not able to use or completely inoperable.
Hotel laundry room for guest is out of order. I saw a small black rat when I went to get ice! Little sucker scared me! This area is outside ish so to be expected, hopefully new owner will mediate this.
Beautiful surroundings quick walk to eat or antique shop. Dollar General about 2 miles down the road.”

“We stayed at Basin Park for three nights. Our stay was great and the staff were very friendly! The only complaint I have is that the rooms need some upgrades. The towel rack in our bathroom was hanging out of the wall, there was a few stains on the bedding that appeared to be blood droplets, and the tv didn’t work after the first two days. I highly recommend utilizing the shuttle service! Bennie was one of the highlights of our trip! He was so kind and always smiling when he took us one from one place to the next! Also recommend doing the ghost tour at the hotel!”
“Two words, AMAZING EXPERIENCE, the rooms are very comfortable, and cozy. Everyone is very friendly. Peaceful atmosphere, loved the waterfall with the Koi fish, all the beautiful touches. Mrs. Sarah was a wonderful host, southern hospitality at its best. And if you get a chance to visit sugar and crumb walk across the street. We would definitely stay here at EUREKA SUNSET CABINS again.”
