Incompetent half the time. Some employees are argumentative when they think you're wrong when they mess up. And they left me without my medication over the holidays because of their incompetents.

Young girl at window very sweet but totally incompetent at this time. Needs a whole lot of training and knowledge of products. Sold me two boxes of gauze and when I opened them they were tape.

These people can’t even fill PET SCRIPTS correctly, and the pharmacist became VIOLENTLY angry at me, this morning, for not being able to accept a wildly incorrectly filled prescription at the window. Our kitten needed a common, cheap, often OTC prescription for a minor fungal infection. After stopping for a drive-through breakfast, after we had visited the doctor, we went over to smith to pick up the simple, easy, $20 bottle of pills she needed. I tried to call ahead, since they are so often confused that folks actually WANT the medications that doctors have called to get to us, “so soon” after leaving the doctor, but the line was busy the entire time. Upon arrival, they had no idea what I was talking about. After waiting for about ten minutes at the drive-through, I was rudely commanded to circle the building to allow other customers to get their scripts, because the call had just occurred. I KNOW this was a purposeful lie, because I WATCHED our vet tech calling the pharmacy for us as we left the vet, half an hour before. I listened to the tech speak to the pharmacy before we left the building. Half ann hour before. After being asked very rudely to circle the building three more times, I finally parked, after being told that the pharmacist was “trying to figure it out.” As soon as I parked, the prescription had magically “come through,” whatever that means.Evidently, what the pharmacist, Jane, was doing, while we played musical drive-through spots with all the cars lined up behind us, who were still somehow “ahead” of us, was “figuring out” how to TRIPLE the prescription, and then figuring out how to blame her mistake on our nice vet tech. The woman literally came to the window not once, but twice, as I tried to sort out what she had done, to YELL and GROWL at me, in front of my ten year old child, about how I was wasting her time and how THAT was the prescription that was called in and THAT is what it costs. Again- TRIPLE the medicine that I had talked with a doctor about half an hour before. I did not forget what we needed, and I did not misunderstand the prescription. Singular. For the ONE cat that went to the doctor.Apparently, she does this exact sort of blatant, hateful bullying to customers SO often that she genuinely felt entitled to apologies from ME, as she repeatedly returned to the window to splutter, roll her eyes, shriek, and abuse me, in front of a CHILD, because she had made a mistake that I couldn’t afford to smile nicely and pay her for.I don’t know how rich her favorite customers are, but I cannot pay three times as much as I had budgeted at a pharmacy so that she doesn’t have to feel a feeling she doesn’t have any emotional tools to handle in an adult way. Even when it’s only tripling $20.The guy working the window finally just let me buy one of the random three prescriptions she had made up, somehow, of the same pills, for one cat, in different quantities. It did turn out to be the right drug, at least. I hope. The woman’s behavior made it clear that I really can’t even be sure of THAT until I Google the codes on the pills, themselves. This is the kind of asinine behavior that will kill people, when the drugs are more serious than a mild systemic antifungal. Imagine her acting like this with someone’s cancer meds. The total was less than $20, this prescription that this woman threw an absolute TEMPER TANTRUM at me, about. The RAGE this woman expressed at me for the crime of needing a cheap prescription filled correctly, as I had JUST spoken to my vet about, was truly disturbing. She seriously seemed like a person approaching a violent mental break, in public, poor Jane. I hope she someday finds the courage to seek the professional mental healthcare that she so clearly, desperately needs. It’s clear that her employer doesn’t care about losing customer money because of her absolutely shameful behavior toward customers. They also “don’t stock” birth control, in a state hell-bent on treating people who can get pregnant like livestock. They’ll never get another DIME from me in my life.

I don’t know how a pharmacy can have a busy signal for hours and be able to help customers over the phone. With two land lines and call waiting nowadays, how is it possible? It is a regular thing though.

They had my husband's insulin prescription for almost 2 weeks, and kept telling me to come back later for it. Finally I told them I need it NOW, he's run out. They gave me the run-around and finally told me that the doctor hadn't gotten them the right paperwork, insurance wasn't cooperating, and other excuses. Eventually they told me to just get it from Walmart. And the pharmacist, Jane, threatened to hang up on me because I asked why nobody had contacted me at all to let me know there was a problem. Rude and incompetent.

I just want to start out by saying if you are trying to go to this pharmacy Do not for your own health. John, the pharmacist has given seizure medication to the wrong person and said it was illegal for him to fill it again even though I did not do anything. John ended up having to refill it again and told me it was my third strike when I didn’t know there was a strike system or didn’t have the first two strikes. He is also said about my insurance that it is illegal for him because they’re not making any money. This is John the pharmacist there stay away from this business, they will mess everything up John-the pharmacist actually did not send all of my things to another pharmacy and said I didn’t have any refills when I did on a headache medication and he said it was illegal to send it to another pharmacy. I understand you can only transfer it once, but, if it was never transferred to begin with I don’t understand. This is all-around just horrible John the pharmacist is really bad. He just hung up on me and I just wanted to let everybody know that I always shop locally but don’t do this for your own good read the other reviews down here and you will see why, he is a mean person on the phone and never gets things right. The owner of his business Danny Smith knows about this and still has him working. Anyways, I’m just trying to do this for everybody else’s is good again, stay away from this pharmacy for your health problems if you don’t believe what I am saying, just read the reviews.

SMITH DRUG DENIES MEDICATION TO CANCER PATIENTFor over 30-years, Smith Pharmacy (AND its predecessor Bill's pharmacy) served me and all my family ... UNTIL TODAY! My husband has late stage non-hodgkin's lymphoma -- he is dying and in a lot of pain -- but that made NO difference to the cold-hearted pharmacist John at Smith's. +++ My husband's cancer doctor electronically sent several prescriptions to Smith's. An hour or so later, my husband called Smith's to discover when to pick up his meds. He spoke to Pharmacist John. He asked John a question about a particular medicine. John replied, 'Your doctor prescribed the medication. Ask him!' My husband was shocked and replied 'But you are a pharmacist. You don't know what kind of pills you sell?" John told him to get his medications from Walmart and hung up! Today I am having trouble getting the unfilled prescription paperwork back from Smith's Pharmacy.

SMITH DRUG IS AN ABUSIVE SMALL TOWN MONOPOLYSince becoming the ONLY pharmacy in Eureka Springs, Smith Drug realized it can treat its customers like dirt. And what can the locals do about it? Go without essential medications! *** Today Pharmacist John told me to 'go to Walmart' in response to a question I asked about one of my medications. AND I AM A CANCER PATIENT TOO. So, now I am trying to get my prescription paperwork back from Smith's Drug ... and they are making that very difficult to accomplish!

After over a week of waiting, they still have not forwarded my prescriptions to Walmart! Are they trying to kill me? It is 5 prescriptions! Sounds like they want me to use their funeral service!

My back was out and hubby went in to get Biofreeze. The owner was very accomodating and even gave him a snickers mini bar to make me feel better, as chocolate always does! Great place.

I had a very pleasant experience last week when I came in. You gave me excellent customer service when I was there. There was not much of a wait at all....10 minutes tops. Thank you, for being there for all of us. ?

Nice people work at the store, but honestly it’s the worst drug store I’ve ever used. Usually takes two phone calls to get a Rx filled after doctor calls it in. When you call to ask where your Rx is, they seem lost and inevitably haven’t done anything. In fact my doctor called in a Rx June 2. After two phone calls today, I still don’t have it and will once again have to follow up tomorrow. Save yourself the aggravation, shop elsewhere.
